Thai Kitchen Marbella – Authentic Thai Flavors in a Relaxed Setting
During our recent visit to Marbella, we had the pleasure of dining at Thai Kitchen—a spot that quickly became a favorite, leading us to return twice in one week.
Ambiance and Service: Thai Kitchen offers a welcoming and informal atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on their terrace, taking in the warm Marbella weather while savoring our meals. The staff, who seem to be a mix of Thai and Scottish, were friendly and attentive, adding to the relaxed vibe of the place. The setting is simple and unpretentious, which perfectly complements the straightforward, quality-focused approach of the restaurant.
The Menu: The menu at Thai Kitchen is small but well-chosen, focusing on authentic Thai dishes. The limited selection means that each dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-executed, showcasing the true essence of Thai cuisine.
The Food: We particularly enjoyed the Pad Kra Pao, a spicy stir-fry that was perfectly balanced with basil and chili, and the Larb Kai, a tangy minced chicken salad that was both refreshing and full of flavor. The kitchen staff, who appeared to be Thai, clearly know their way around authentic Thai cooking, delivering dishes that are true to the flavors of Thailand.
Overall Experience: If you’re in Marbella and in the mood for some great Thai food, Thai Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. The combination of authentic flavors, a relaxed setting, and friendly service makes it a place we’ll definitely return to on our next trip. It’s a straightforward, no-frills restaurant where the focus is on delivering quality Thai cuisine in a laid-back environment. And for a good...
Read moreWhat a great little gem of a place that serves authentic Thai Food that brings you back to Koh Samui or Phuket or Bangkok. It was a little treasure of a place that you kind of want to keep it a secret. We had the Laab Kai - Minced Chicken, Pad Thai using the authentic Thai Noodles served with Big Prawns. Green Chicken Curry served with rice. Spring Rolls were home made and you can tell how lovely they tasted. Pineapple fried rice was cooked beautifully with fresh pineapples and lots of cashews. Singha beers that is a local Thai beer to go with your meals. Love the fact that you’re sitting on the sidewalk and watch the world go by. We ate the food so fast as it was so delicious didn’t manage to take any photos. I would highly recommend visitors and locals that are hanging out for a great Thai place and very reasonable prices to go there. Be sure to book as it will get booked up. All the best Sam and Chris for your wonderful hospitality. Will definitely be back here next time we visit. We don’t eat this much normally but it’s been a month or more since we had Thai so we went overboard but ate everything that we ordered between the 3 of us. Loved it and my local friend will definitely return along with many other...
Read moreThe perfect end to a great day. We wanted to have a quick dessert and went to the Thai Kitchen to eat mango with sticky rice. Unfortunately we arrived a little too early, the kitchen wasn't open yet but a mango was reserved for us as they only had two mangoes left (when we asked, they said they only buy ripe mangoes, if none are available they don't serve the dish). A mark of quality in my opinion! We passed the time for a good hour until we came back.
Sam told us which dishes were available and also something about the spiciness and composition.
We had the spring rolls, the papaya salad, the laab gai and mango with sticky rice. If you want to eat great and authentic Thai cuisine in Marbella, you have to give this rather inconspicuous restaurant a chance! The papaya salad, the most authentic outside Thailand and my mum's (I have Thai roots myself), deserves a special mention Thank you, we'll be...
