☕️🥐 A Café Gem: Where Spanish Banquet Meets French Pastry 🥖🇪🇸
Did you know Marbella's culinary scene is a delightful fusion of Spanish flair and international flavours? 🌍🌟
About our culinary delight at Granier at Café in Marbella: 🍫 Chocolate Croissant Delight: Our journey commenced with two delicious chocolate croissants. 🥖 Baguette with Magic: Next, a baguette adorned with Spanish meats. The flavours danced on our taste buds like a flamenco performance, leaving us craving more. 🍊 Freshly Squeezed Delight: Ah, the freshly squeezed orange juice! Right before our very eyes, a burst of citrusy goodness was as refreshing as a dip in the Mediterranean. ☕️ Coffee Connoisseur's Paradise: Now, instead of the Supersize-me American coffee (Grande, Venti, Galoni), I prefer to sip on a small and rich Espresso. And for a twist, a cappuccino where I can add a bit of cinnamon, mushroom coffee mix, and honey. 👦 Fuel for the Growing Appetite (not a phrase - either ‘a growing boy’, ‘ravenous appetite’, ‘blackhole appetite’): My son, a towering young lad (don’t say this, you are not Irish and it’s weird, say something like ‘6’2” and still growing strong), needs more than "the dew of a single ginko leaf and the energy of the universe" for breakfast. By the time we're done ordering, our table resembles a small banquet. 🍽️ Indulgent Full Breakfast (aren’t you basically saying the same thing as before about how it’s a full breakfast that feeds even your gigantic 18-year-old?): While I usually stick to coffee for breakfast due to intermittent fasting, Granier Café has a way of tempting me into a full breakfast indulgence from time to time (you can use this as a conclusion instead if you want). The Bill: 💶 For this delightful culinary escapade, we parted with 27 euros—a fair price for the feast of flavors we enjoyed.
In conclusion, Granier Café is a true treasure in Marbella. It effortlessly marries the elegance of French pastries with the boldness of Spanish culinary delights. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or in need of a hearty breakfast, this café has...
Read moreCoffee and pastries are fine here in the morning although not as good as Granier in the Old Town which is better. The let down in this cafe was lunch, the caprese empanada was actually inedible. Lumpy undercooked pastry and a really awful filling nothing resembling the usual caprese empanadas available elsewhere. I rarely post bad reviews as I avoid eating anywhere likely to be bad but in this case it is important to state lunch is a huge disappointment (toilets also filthy at 2pm and no toilet roll even). Cafe Acapulco and Cafe El Molino across the road were both packed for lunch and would have been a...
Read moreGreat place to take a breakfast of healthy toast , tomatoes and olive oil in the morning, the coffee is really great and always hot.
The breads are always freshly made every few hours as they have a large turnover.
The breakfast time is always busy but the girls are fast at cleaning the tables when people have left.
They also have a super selection of fresh cakes and fresh pastries crossoints.
Nice terrace and seating inside.
Great service but no table service, you have to order...
