Gatygo-Rent Nerja — Local services in Nerja

In August of 2023 we rented a small 125scooter, we got a little late for pickup (20mins or so), but got a 125mc instead (no problem for me as i drive with gears on MC at home).

Seemed to be best choice also, for the brief one day tour we had upto nearby mountains and rivers. Had 2 sideboxes including a large topbox, perfect match for two people.

The phone holder (for GPS) worked as a charm, including the charging connector also. Only thing missing was signal on phone when reaching into valleys of the mounts (not bikes fault :D)

Very welcomming guys at the place, also good explaining in english.

They suggested some places to see, as we did a few, also we pre-planned little tour ourself beforehand.

For atleast Danish people, note a 125cc is not a motorcycle that requires special licens in spain! Tho i would suggest ones without, to choose a scooter instead as it has no gears :-)

side note:

We got it fully topped up, drove around 100km that day, only used around 6l of fuel, so also very efficient small bike given it was driven in hilly and slopes, with 2 persons and luggage along.

We refueled before comming back to Nerja to drop it off.

Scooter are not in good shape. Test them first. Our was only driving 60km/h, very slow for a 125cc bike. Gas meter was broken and speed meter as well. Was able to switch the scooter on the next day. Price information infront of the store is suggesting lower prices, in summer it costs 50€ for a scooter for a day. Employees are very polite and understand humor but if they are in the store is sometimes luck. Open hourse are not completly...

Very friendly and helpful man. I would recommend everybody going to Nerja to rent a scooter here. I called to ask if there was a scooter available and within 5 minutes the scooter was already ready and the paper work just took a minute to finish. Scooter was in good shape, gave us 2 helmets and the dropoff was easy. The service was very fast and amazing. Communication went very well in english👏🏼 We will come back here on...
