La Oveja Latxa — Local services in San Sebastián

Loved the shop while we were there. We ordered 6 bottles of olive oil and 6 of sherry. They shipped it home for us. Paid almost $500 for product and shipping. The product never showed up. They did not order insurance when they shipped. In all fairness, USPS is who lost it but we needed them to contact the company in Spain that they used for shipping. They said they would but never followed through finally stopped answering emails. We spent a lot of money and never received our product. They did not help us...

We had an awful experience here. The woman who served us was abusive and aggressive. She laughed at us, as tourists, not understanding local produce, and made fun of us for our choices in front of other customers. In the end we handed back the things we wanted to buy and walked away, and her response was that she was glad. I felt humiliated and shaken. I was drawn in by the beautiful displays and was greeted by the friendliest people in a all of San Sebastian. We were offered samples what I can honestly say was some of the best cheese I have ever tasted. Despite my luggage being perilously close to over weight on luggage bought a Kilo of cheese to have vacuum packed for the return to US.
