TEDi Comercio S.L.U. — Local services in Segovia

I usually don't write reviews on public platforms, but the incident my daughter and I experienced at this store in Segovia on April 11, 2025, was deeply upsetting and should not happen to any other tourists visiting this beautiful, historic city.

As we walked into the store, the alarm suddenly went off. A staff member at the checkout stopped us and began questioning us in Spanish. When we asked if they could speak English, an elderly couple at the checkout helped translate. What we heard through them was shocking and hurtful—it felt both accusatory and discriminatory. The translation was something along the lines of: “The alarm went off as you entered, which might happen if you’ve stolen something—maybe from another store or something in your pockets.”

We were stunned. We explained we had only come in to buy a bottle of water and even showed what we had in our pockets. Eventually, the staff member allowed us to enter. Unfortunately, they didn’t even have water, so we quickly bought a soda and left, still shaken and rushing to catch our bus.

We’ve traveled to many countries, and never before have we encountered such an unwelcoming experience. It felt unfair and left us with a negative impression. While we understand that not everyone is the same, this encounter made us question whether others might face similar treatment. We hope this message encourages more empathy and cultural sensitivity...

Handy shop but the workers there are rude to the costumers. They act like the literal memes of “store employee how doesn’t care if you live or die” with the laughs between them and the immediate rudeness to you when you get close to purchase...

Hoy he ido a comprar unos guantes ya que tenia frio mire unas cuantas cosas mas y vi un gorro que me gustaba a todo esto entre con mi grupo de amigos, no nos quitaron el ojo en toda la estancia en toda la tienda, nos estivieron siguiendo. Me probe el gorro de 1 roñoso euro y lo deje ahi. Al salir de la tienda la dependienta muy maleducada me pregunto por el gorro a lo que yo la dije que lo habia dejado dentro a lo que ella insinuaba que lo habia robado. Me increpo de que no me lo podia probar tambien.me dijo que me lo tendria que a ver cobrado. En fin pesimo el trato en esta tienda.... Tendrias que hacerlo ver porq la...
