My visit to Les Bains de la Gruyère was a delightful experience, tinged with a few logistical concerns. The facility itself is outstanding, offering a diverse range of baths suitable for both families and those seeking a more serene, adult-only environment. The division of sections for families and those over 16 ensures that all visitors can enjoy a tailored experience. The spa area is a highlight, boasting an array of saunas and a hamam that provide a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. These facilities are well-maintained and contribute significantly to the overall soothing atmosphere. However, there are aspects that need improvement. The parking situation is a notable drawback, as the lot is consistently full, making it challenging to find a spot. Additionally, the popularity of Les Bains de la Gruyère leads to long waiting times to gain entry, which can detract from the overall experience, especially for those on a tighter schedule. In summary, while the baths and spa facilities are top-notch, the logistical issues with parking and wait times are areas that could be enhanced for a truly seamless experience. Despite these hiccups, I would recommend a visit to Les Bains de la Gruyère for anyone seeking a quality spa day, with the advice to plan ahead for...

It's a luxurious resort with a tremendous view. Warm mineral water, several types of hamam and saunas plus relaxing atmosphere makes you feel young and happy despite your age in the passport. Everything is fitted for you: no need to take a hairdryer, they have 5-6. There is a buffet inside, if you're hungry. Even hooks for sunglasses in front of sauna. There was one sauna you must wear off everything before going. It's funny 4 adults couldn't enforce themselves to step inside, thought we were curious. We came there with children, but i think thouse who are older would prefer louder entertainment, but my toddler was happy with new feelings. There are 2 covered zones, one of them is with intence water flowing 16+ and one zone open. We forgot our babystroller there. The stuff was so attentive to answer my letter, they kept it till we came next weekend. Girls, you...

In my opinion these are exceptional Therme (Baths) because of at least two reasons: water temperature, fantastic pools area. The water is 35-36 degrees, clean and transparent. You will find three different pool zones. We didn’t enjoy much spa zone, sauna area because we were with kid. Just quickly pop up there. There are 3 types of saunas 90; 75-80; 35-50 degrees. One of them is textile free. Hammam you will find in a main pool area. We were during Weekend, it was crowded, but steel cozy and clean. Staying with kid was without any stress. We found sunbeds, nice cafe, towels to rent, free lockers. No worries at all. Even parking was available. Small minus was changing area: too narrow, with a kid it’s tuff to change him, pack everything and change for adults. We didn’t find family...

even although you pay in advance and you get some drink in the price of the entry and gift that your friends have given you, you will be told there is no welcome drink, by employee named Gatien and they will tell you to get in line with people who dont have ticket, horrible experience and classical rude behaviour with client! basically message is we dont care you paid in advance! so in the end you are forced to wait for 30 minutes before you can even start to enjoy anything. also the welcome drink ordered in giftbox we wont even ask for it again, since we were told there is NONE. another 10 minutes for electronic bracelet that is not working its already 40 minutes since arrival then 5 minutes where we searched for a working box. Bains de gruyere - to be evaded for me next time

I went here on a Friday afternoon for a massage and to use the baths. It was pretty crowded but not as crowded as when I left in the evening. Highly recommend bringing your own towel & robe otherwise it's 8CHF for a towel & 15CHF for a robe. I would have thought it would have been included, but it's not. Locker rooms & showers are co-ed. Very nice facility and baths were nice, but I thought they could have been a bit warmer. I enjoyed the dry & wet steam rooms. I got a sandwich & smoothie and it was alright. My massage was ok, nothing extraordinary. I did like how the upstairs spa room had a relaxation room, that was nice. The views were spectacular, which i think made the entire experience.
