Exceptional 5 day Safari Experience with Marco!

Our family of six, including three children under 10, returned from an unforgettable 5-day safari in Tanzania in December, and we cannot recommend this experience enough! From start to finish, everything was seamless, thanks to the outstanding service provided by the tour company and, most importantly, our incredible guide, Marco. We knew we were in good hands as soon as Kamber and Marco met us at the airport.

Marco was truly exceptional—his deep knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, and local culture made every game drive fascinating. He had an incredible ability to engage both adults and children, patiently answering endless questions and making sure our kids were always comfortable and entertained. His warmth and attentiveness made us feel completely at ease, and his passion for the animals and environment was contagious.

The vehicle was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, even for long drives, and Marco always ensured we had everything we needed. He was flexible with the itinerary, accommodating our family's pace while still making sure we saw the Big Five and so much more.

Traveling with young children can be challenging, but with Marco, everything felt effortless. His patience, kindness, and expertise made this the trip of a lifetime. It's been 4 months since our trip, and our kids still talk about Marco and remember singing Jambo with him, and facts that he shared. We recently completed a safari in the Serengeti and couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Nature’s Land Safaris. From the initial planning stages through to the final day of the trip, the entire process was handled with exceptional professionalism. Communication was clear, the planning was seamless, and the payment process was flexible and accommodating.

The vehicle provided — a rugged, well-built Toyota Land Cruiser — was an absolute beast on the Serengeti terrain. Despite its toughness, it was incredibly comfortable and reliable throughout our journey.

The true highlight of our trip was our guide, Shama. He was outstanding — easily one of the biggest reasons our safari was such a success. Shama went above and beyond to ensure we saw everything. Thanks to his expertise and willingness to go off the beaten path, we experienced wildlife in incredible abundance. His ability to spot animals — even when hidden in dense bush or trees — was truly unbelievable. He has the eye of an eagle!

Beyond his guiding skills, Shama was warm, personable, and had excellent English. In just a few days, he formed a great bond with my wife and son, which made the experience even more memorable.

Safari with kids in school and preschool age:

Nature's Land Safaris provided an unforgettable package for our family with two kids (6 and 3 years old) starting from Mwanza. We were lucky to be with Heshim as a guide and driver who was very considerate of the kids patience and drove extremely carefully. They didn't get carsick once (which is unusual). He also timed lodge, lunch, and gate arrival as well as departure perfectly, which kept them in a good mood over the long days of driving. They had plenty of rare animals sightings which they will never forget again.

At the office prior to our trip, they allowed me a look into their garage and fleet operations. I was impressed about their one-driver-one-car policy that installs responsibility of a vehicle to one specific driver (cars are never swapped among different persons). The olive green painted and state-of-the-art safari Trucks were in impeccable condition and powerful looking. Inside the van, we enjoyed the AC outlets for charging phones and gear as well as the fridge for cold drinks.

I would always recommend Nature's Land Safaris to other parents with intend to bring their kids onto a safari. We always felt safe and taken care of. Tipp: Bring plenty of snacks, the lunch boxes might not always hit the kids taste and preferences...
