Rooftop restaurant/Pinnacle Lounge/Wag Hill Restaurant, it's basically all the same place on top of one of the few buildings with elevator in Mwanza (take it up to floor 8 and walk the last stairset). We believe its one of the best restaurants in town, and it has even gotten better now with an updated menu and alcoholic beverages. They also do takeaway and Delivery. Pinnacle (to your left) is more of a lounge with pool table and comfy couches. Wag Hill restaurant (to your right) is more proper for dining. You get the same food and views in both. ###The views: sit back and watch the buzz and listen to the noises of the city. You can see the lake and sunsets are amazing. ###food/drinks: the Indian dishes are among the best dishes in town. A bit too spicy for the children (even though we explicitly asked for not spicy). One of the few places that still runs the iconic local beer Balimi.

Rooftop is a decent restaurant and cafe in the heart of Mwanza City. We were three people who went there in the evening and we weren't disappointed. It has gorgeous views of the city and Lake Victoria - the sunset was beautiful from up here. We ordered hara bhara kabab, mutton seekh kabab, cappuccino Iced mocha, and mixed fruit juice. The food came reasonably quickly and tasted great. The coffee was alright, and the juice was very sweet. The staff were quite friendly and nice. The only issue is that the menu they shared was incomplete (it didn't have the starters nor main course page on all three menus they gave us!). Their card machine was also not working, which was mildly annoying. Overall, it was a good experience.

The only reason we visited this rooftop bar three times during our five-night stay in Mwanza was for the Mixed Vegetable Masala curry with a chilli Naan Bread. It was absolutely delicious, the best curry I've ever tasted. Every night it was exactly the same: excellent, excellent, excellent. Of course, there's all the other stuff: a great view across the city, great service, and ice-cold beers with complimentary rice crackers, which are delicious too. If you don't come here, you're missing the only highlight of Mwanza. Come and enjoy.
