Unforgettable African Safari Experience!

Our safari experience with Zaki from Exotic Wilderness was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to the final day of our journey, every detail was handled with professionalism, warmth, and genuine passion for African wildlife and culture. Our journey through Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater was both seamless and unforgettable.

Our guide Edwin was incredibly knowledgeable—not just about the animals, but also about the ecosystems and the local tribes that we explored. He had an amazing ability to spot wildlife from a distance, and thanks to his expertise, we saw the Big Five within our first few days, along with countless other animals we never expected to see up close in their natural habitat.

The absolute highlight of our trip was witnessing the great Wildebeest migration crossing the Mara river- a breathtaking and emotional moment that words can hardly describe. Our guide timed it perfectly, and we were lucky enough to witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras make the dramatic crossing, complete with crocodiles lurking in the water and thunder of hooves on the banks. We also saw cheetahs and a pride of lions lounging just meters from our vehicle.

The accommodations exceeded all expectations. Whether we were staying in luxury lodges or charming tented camps, everything was comfortable, clean, and beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings. The food was consistently delicious, and the staff at every stop were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. What really stood out, though, was the personalized attention and care that Zaki gave us. Our preferences were always taken into account, and the itinerary had the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation, and cultural experiences. From sunrise game drives to sundowners overlooking the savannah, every moment felt magical. We felt completely immersed in the beauty of Tanzania.

We also visited Zanzibar known for its pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters. It’s a perfect place to relax after having done the safari. Zaki recommended a beautiful property which had a mix of luxury, comfort and service in a beautiful beach setting.

We just returned from a Safari in Tanzania, and it was the best experience we've ever had! We are seasoned travelers, but this just blew us away! Zaki, from Exotic Wilderness, did all the arrangements. We landed in Arusha in the middle of the night, and there was a car with a driver/guide waiting for us. We had the vehicle and the driver/guide with us for all six days we were in Tanzania until we were dropped off at the airport! Everything was arranged, including the stays and all meals. Novar, the driver was fantastic and took us all over the Serengeti and the Ngornogoro Crater. He was great at spotting the wildlife and very knowledgeable about the different animals and birds. In our days together, we also learned a lot from him about the people, history, and culture of Tanzania. Zaki was an absolute joy to work with in planning the trip! He was always available, provided suggestions, answered questions, and put together a great itinerary. He also checked on us every day while we were there!! Having done our homework, we also knew he was much cheaper than most of the other outfits we had checked out. The little back story is that we had booked the trip twice before (in 2020 and again in 2021) but ended up canceling both because of Covid! He was so gracious and understanding, especially given all the work he had put in each of those times. In short, we had the most memorable trip imaginable, with perfect and seamless arrangements. In fact, we even added two days in Zanzibar and in Dar e Salam that were also arranged by him. We've been telling the children, and everyone we know that they have to do this trip at least once. We recently returned from a 9-day Safari trip to Tanzania, carefully planned by our excellent travel agent, Zaki. This trip was nothing short of amazing, featuring a scintillating experience of the wild, effortlessly guided by our driver and guide, Joseph.

Our itinerary took us through some of Tanzania's most beautiful parks. We spent 1 day exploring the natural wonders of Tarangire National Park, another day reveled in the beauty of Lake Manyara. We spent an exhilarating 3 days in the heart of the wilderness, Serengeti, and finally capped the safari with a day in the stunning landscapes of Ngorongoro. Each day brought a new adventure and exceptional wildlife observations that will remain etched in our hearts forever.

Above all, the accommodation throughout our journey exceeded our expectations in comfort and luxury. Both Zaki and Joseph delivered impeccable service, catering to all our needs to ensure that our safari was not only enjoyable but also comfortable.
