I feel beyond extreme disappointment with this salon...

I went in (with old, faded, dark green hair color and about 10cms of natural root growth) for a color correction. We had a conversation about my goals and ideas before starting, and I specifically told them that the most important thing for me (apart from getting rid of the green) is to avoid any warm/red/orange undertones and go for something dark, almost black, to cancel all that out. I picked a color + treatment package since we were obviously doing permanent hair dye, and I want to minimize damage as much as possible.

Their service and attention during the appointment was great, I had snacks, tea and books to read while they worked on my hair. They applied hair color to all of my hair first and when they rinsed it, my roots were BRIGHT ORANGE. They corrected this immediately with a 2nd round of hair dye. Treatment was applied, hair was cut and event though I was feeling very anxious about 2 hair dye processes in one same session, I walked out happy with the results.

They gave me a special shampoo and treatment for after care. I waited 5 days before using them for the first time as I intentionally wanted to let the color set in for a few days. A lot of dye came out in the shower. Didn't pay much attention to it and thought it made sense. By the second wash (another 5 days later) my hair went back to looking just like before I came in, except with lighter and uneven roots this time.

I reached out to them via text feeling deeply sad and Hiroto seemed extremely attentive, concerned and committed to make it right, I was so relieved. I was invited to come by the salon the next time I could, so they could examine and determine what could have gone wrong and propose a solution.

Long story short, he listened to me, examined the terrible condition of the color, walked me through solutions, and we picked the perfect one. Just before starting, he pulls out the calculator to show me that he'd do it for a SPECIAL DISCOUNT ( of 30%... )  since they messed up bad.

I stupidly wasted an hour of my time having a discussion with him since all he had to say is that in 14 years of experience being a hair colorist he NEVER saw anything like this before, so what could he do. I started crying in shock, explained the money and time I invested in his business and asked if he truly thought my hair looked like it was done by a 14year experienced professional, or if it looked like I just spent more than 6,000 BAHT on it.

It went nowhere, he said he also spent time and money on his business and kept laughing... "All he could do for me" was offer wash, conditioning treatment and drying for free if I felt like it. Still in shock, offended, and crying for my hair and the lost money of course I walked out.

I blindly fell in love with their website, product and "hair problem solving philosophy". I chose Cuu's Hair after researching several hair salons in the area, even though they exceeded my budget. (I even shared this with him the first time and he was flattered)

WORST mistake of my time spent in Thailand.

Ladies, there are a ton of quality japanese hair salons in the Thonglor area (and in all of Bangkok for sure) that charge HALF of what these people charge, have actual customer service, and do an...

The way the owner of this business handles situations is a complete abomination. My girlfriend went in for a color correction and they completely screwed up her hair. They have a policy that after 7 days you can't get any service or refund - which is a disengenuous policy because it takes more than a week to really see what happened.

ALSO SHE USED THEIR BRANDED POST TREATMENTS!

Women do not wash their hair every day, after 3 washes her hair looked horrible. There are all sorts of oddities with the color, she looks worse than when she came in. My girlfriend cried in the salon for 30 minutes and the owner did not care. He added insult to injury offering her 30% off to get it done again! How pathetic! She cannot get color again as it damages your hair and he knows this. I do not recommend doing business with these people, they would not take any responsibility nor give us a refund. He played dumb and ducked out like a coward. The money is not the point, that's just showing respect and personal responsibility to give a refund when you did a horrible job and made a mistake. The point is my girlfriend has been crying all day and her most precious possession is her hair, as is any woman's, it's her pride and joy and she trusted this salon (they charge very premium prices especially for Thonglor) and they did harm to her hair and self esteem.

I had a terrible experience for hair coloring in this salon. I selected non bleach hair color in light brown and I was told it will have a greenish tinge. After my hair was washed and dried I saw the hair color much darker than my original hair color and it had a reddish/brownish tinge. I was super disappointed with what the color turned out to be. I compared my hair strands with the sample hair color strands, it was contrasting different. The stylist told me since your skin color is light , dark hair color wil suit you. The point is not about what will suit me, we had agreed on a certain color which was lighter tone then why wasn’t the result according to that. Anyway, I had no option to change anything.
