Fantastic Coffee Experience at Roots Thonglor! ☕️✨

Kids off to summer camp meant a perfect opportunity for some me-time with my wife, and we decided to refuel at Roots at Thonglor. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. We ordered an Oat Milk Latte and a Long Black, and both were simply delicious. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making each sip a delight. 🥰

Roots is known for its dedication to quality coffee, and it shows. The Oat Milk Latte was creamy with a subtle sweetness that perfectly complemented the robust espresso. The Long Black was bold and smooth, a true testament to their expertly roasted beans. The baristas here are clearly passionate about their craft, and it’s reflected in every cup they serve. ☕️👍

The location at The Commons adds to the charm, providing a relaxed and hip environment to enjoy great coffee. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or just looking for a pleasant spot to unwind, Roots at Thonglor is a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone in Bangkok looking for a top-notch coffee...

First thing to do is to find the location of the Roots’ counter inside this conceptual, labyrinthine, atypical and small mall center named the Commons. It’s a real open space. The Roots is finally situated at the ground flood, on the right by the street entrance ( to avoid you walking throught plateforms and stairs). In this huge room, differents counters offer their specialities and up to you to sit somewhere. This concept annoys me if you consider that it’s more expensive than many places and that you have to do the service... It’s conflicting. So... Everything is in the staging, the value of the product where the costumer is no more than a passerby, an anonymous, almost a stooge. The staff, quite nice, is not responsible of this, the concept, yes. It’s overrated. Yes, the place is beautiful, surprising but be original and different is it enough? The latte was good. Excellent? No. Better than anywhere? No. The bakeries also. Will i come back?...

Walked in on a very hot afternoon and had the seasonal Wild Squeeze (cold brew with fruit and tea) which seemed insanely creative, for 120 BHT

Staff speaks English and take credit cards (yay!) there isn’t much seating around, only about 5 seats or so.

I wish I had ordered their signature cold brew or latte. They sell those in a can for take out as well.

Minus a star because Wild Squeeze tasted more like a tea beverage and I could not taste the cold brew at all. Not their fault if they meant it that way, but I wish they had...
