Centre Point Serviced Apartment Thong Lo — Hotel in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

It is unfortunate that I have to share this negative review. I've stayed at past Centre Point properties and was looking forward to this stay. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. The plus is they are large, spacious but they are a bit dated.

When we arrived on the 29 Mar evening, the air conditioning did not work in the second bedroom and living room. My mother had to contact the front desk and maintenance on Sat 30 Mar at 6am at the morning as it was unbearably hot after a sleepless night. The technician came and tried to fix it, but it still was not fixed until we left.

Power socket at the desk next to the TV was not working in the second bedroom At 6am, the technician had to give us an extension cord. The balcony light was also not working. The telephone in the second bedroom did not work, it had to be replaced. But this resolve during our stay but should not have been broken in the first place.

The floor was filthy. There was hair and food in the corners. Our feet were all black. Even though we reported this to housekeeping, it still was not clean even upon check out.

Breakfast was limited and not of high quality. When compared other Center Point properties it was limited and lacked in a variety.

To make things worse, during our stay, we tried to escalate these issues to the duty manager, but were told that no one was on duty for the whole weekend. Instead, the reception staff did her best to assist, but as she was not in charge, there was a limit to what she was able to do. It was very disappointing that none of this was resolved by the management instead was delegated to the working staff who have limited influence. We’ve stayed at many Centre Point hotels and that is the reason why we picked this place when my son signed up for a 5 day camp located in Thonglo. I have compared all the room sizes, prices and location of all the hotels nearby and Centre Point Serviced Apartment was by far, the most superior. The staff were courteous and willing to go above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one.

Their staff MR. SOONTHORN was top notch in his customer service and demeanor. I must say he was my favorite as he was consistently helpful and pleasant. He would press the elevator for us when he saw us coming into the building so that we didn’t have to take out our room key. Sometimes, he would run to the elevator and waited several minutes since my son would take his sweet time getting hot chocolate. I was so impressed and our interaction with him made this hotel stay very special for us.

We ordered Grab a couple of days and the front desk would either call us or went ahead and delivered the food to our doorsteps.

I had parcels delivered to me, and the front desk was really helpful. They also printed a document/ticket for us free of charge.

Their 24 hr drinks such as cafe latte and hot chocolate service was a big plus!

Their ride (tuk tuk like vehicle) took us to make alms in the morning with the monk down the street and waited to take us back.

My son spilled Miso soup on the floor during breakfast, the restaurant staff was so kind and cleaned it up with a smile.

I had a very comfortable 2 nights stay in the Executive twin suite. Since i have already paid through Agoda, the check-in process was very smooth. The staffs are welcoming and friendly at all times. I love how big our room was and it made me feel like home. The bed and pillows were comfortable, giving me a good night sleep. I wasn't able to swim in the pool but noticed that the water is clear and clear. Breakfast option was good enough, there's not a big selection if compared to Centre point Chidlom, but the taste was good, especially the noodle soup! In terms of noise, i think it's a lot quieter here, comparing to Centre point Chidlom since the bed room is in a separate room, far from the door to the the corridor. For bathroom, it is very spacious and I love that they have separate shower and bathtub and there's a Japanese style toilet. For checkout, I requested to have a late check out at 1pm as my flight was a bit late that day. The front office desk was very kind and have programmed my room card to 1pm. They have also helped to call a metered taxi for me to go to the airport as well. Thank you very much to everyone at Centre point Thong Lo!
