Samui Relaxed Massage — Local services in Ko Samui

Came here w/ my partner bc we had seen so many incredible reviews and were looking forward to having one last amazing massage while in Thailand before heading home. Unfortunately, it ended up being an hour of both of us feeling annoyed at how bad it was, and baffled at how they got such amazing ratings.

A few people wrote about them being unprofessional, and I would agree. My masseuse had her headphones in and I had to keep trying to get her attention to request adjusting the pressure before she finally heard me. The towels were just tossed around and made it more difficult for her to stretch me properly bc of how the towels were just bunched up around me.

In essence, it seemed as though the masseuses had just received Thai massages in the past and were trying semi-recreate them from memory rather than having any actual training. With this being said, lack of training can be quite dangerous as my partner's masseuse injured his shoulder with one of the stretches she attempted at the end.

Needless to say, I definitely do NOT recommend this place. One of my friends got a massage in our resort instead (Celes Samui) and said it was incredible; the higher price was clearly worth...

Would recommend not going here. Untrained and unprofessional masseuses. The lady that massaged me, felt like she was just rushing through, no awareness of pressure points, wouldn't cover or remove the towel properly, just kind of threw it on me even if I wasn't covered. She would suddenly stop to check her phone and seemed generally disinterested in giving the massage. My friend's masseuse saw this and also got lazy and started rushing through the massae. It was a waste of money. Would recommend going to Baan Massage just to minutes to the left...

Massage was good, professional, but not the best I had. More relaxing than deep. Place was clean and nice, but aircon was far to cold, they had only normal pillows (no massage pillows) and the massage ladies seemed medium motivated. No prices outside, you see them when you already inside.
