Was so looking forward to this experience but sadly was so disappointed. My massage was done in a room with bright lights, no music and I was given no privacy to get undressed. The ‘relaxation’ massage I had booked was the least relaxing I’ve ever had and I am an experienced massage therapist myself so I know what training we have to go through. No medical consultation beforehand or ask if any allergies. Then a very rushed not relaxing massage with no care at all. Then when on my back she massaged my breasts. In the uk this is not acceptable. I appreciate in Tunisia it might be different but it is still respectable to ask permission. The massage bed was uncomfortable and at the end she left the room without telling me where she was going. Left the door wide open for anyone to see me. I had a towel over my eyes so felt vulnerable as didn’t know if she had finished or where she had gone! Then she came back and then no after care or even bother to show me where to go afterwards just left to try and find my way back. After such care and attention at the hotel on site Royal Azur I was shocked to receive such poor service. The rest of the spa is in a lovely location but is run down and not clean. Not a cheap massage place either so not acceptable sorry I don’t usually leave bad reviews but as nobody bothered to ask me if we had had a nice time I’ve had to...

Pros: • The spa is set in beautiful surroundings, offering a peaceful and attractive environment. • The infinity pool is lovely and well-maintained. • The hammam facilities were very clean and well presented.
Cons: • Service throughout the spa was disappointing. From reception and robe attendants to the masseuse, staff interactions were notably poor, with a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism. • The massage experience did not meet expectations. Although we booked a one-hour session, the masseuse left midway to engage in conversation elsewhere, and the treatment lasted only around 25 minutes. • Cleanliness in the restroom facilities was below an acceptable standard for a venue positioning itself as a luxury spa. • While most staff spoke primarily French and had limited English, language barriers do not excuse the absence of a welcoming or pleasant manner.
Overall: Despite the attractive setting, the overall experience at Bio Azur Spa did not reflect the level of service or quality expected from a luxury establishment. Given the cost of the package, I would recommend considering alternative spas that offer a more personalised, professional, and...
