Mehmet Usta — Local services in Kaş

During our vacation in Kaş, we have been in this wonderful little restaurant three times. If you consider we only had 5 days, you should understand how much we liked it. :) The food is great, everything we had was amazing - and we almost tried everything. The price is quite honestly not fair - for the staff that is, because it's way too low (for tourists)! In other restaurants you would have to pay double or tripple for the same food but probably also less taste. On our third day we noticed that the prices had been increased but actually we were happy about that. I told the owner that they could and should have increased them even higher. She is well aware of that but still doesn't want to increase them too much (which sadly is the reason they can't even afford more staff members...), probably because their main customer group are local residents who appreciate both the taste and the prices. You can tell since you usually can't find many tourists at this place which is kind of hidden next to a rather quiet small park. The staff which consists of a family of mother, father and daughter were absolutely lovely and I hope to see them and taste their food again someday. So if you want to have a great meal with a taste of turkish family atmosphere, please have a go and try this place! çok teşekkür ederim ve sizlere hayırlı işler dilerim!...

Been there once randomly while searching for kebabs nearby. At first, we were quite happy because of the prices on the menu. It is quite cheap. This was also suspicious though.

We ate Adana and Urfa kebabs. The kebabs were tasteless and chewy. Don't expect much from the food.

The staff is friendly. The place is nice. A lot of tables outside. Wouldn't be a great option during the day because of the sun.

Overall it's ok. Can't complain much about the food because it's cheap. So, if you want really cheap food nearby...

Came because of the reviews about the lamb and it did not disappoint. I've had it served a bit overdone and dry in other places in turkey but here it was deliciously juicy and succulent. Locals mostly come here and the prices reflect that, we got 2 wraps and 2 drinks for 90TL! Friendly staff don't speak much English but the food...
