MANOS GREEK TAVERN KAŞ — Restaurant in Kaş

Fresh, quality products, delicious olive oil which they are pouring to your dishes, great, polite service, clean, reservation must. They don’t have 40 kind of starters, cold mezes like others and actually this is the original way of doing it, quality, not the quantity. Easy on the special home made bread or other wise you will not be able to try other little dishes. No sea view or sexy terrace anything like that all I can promise is clean place, delicious food and great atmosphere. For people who have no idea what is “meyhane” or “tavern” is for Aegean and Mediterranean people around our geography; we go those establishments in the evening, mostly no kids in late time times such as after 20:00. First visit is to the meze fridge to pick few mezes, we stay long time and start with small cold starters (mezes), we drink rakı, after we order hot starters and salad and when the restaurant about the close we have our last of our other last drinks 🙃 as rakı and maybe Turkish Coffee at the end and we leave the place. We don’t rush anything here including bill, if you in a hurry there are many places appreciated to feed you fast and kick you out in an hour. An another day we skip the cold ones or hot ones and have fish if possible sea fish not fish from the sea farm. September-April professional fishing is for real fishmongers forbidden so do not expect many varieties. You certainly have to make reservation in Manos and eat there if you are a foodie like us. Do not eat lunch that day so you can try many options...

Expensive, Rude, Scam, Not Tasty

I like Greek food and have been to many Greek restaurants in different countries, but this one is the worst so far. At the beginning, I was told that all meat dishes were unavailable—only fish. I ordered fish, and the waiter said it would come with two side dishes: salad and potatoes. While waiting, I ordered two more side dishes.

When the fish arrived, there were no side dishes—just a bunch of leaves on the side for decoration. When I asked why, the waiter said it’s because I already ordered side dishes, so they don’t include any with the fish. What??? Then the bill came, and they added bread and water, which I never asked for and wasn’t informed about. Most restaurants offer bread for free, but if not, they should clearly say so. They claimed it was written in the menu. I showed them the menu, and they couldn’t find it. SCAM.

The food was very average, overpriced, and the portions were way too small.

NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL. If you want good Greek food, definitely don’t go there.

P.S. The owner lies in the replies and is very rude....

The food is really nice, but the service could be more polite and less importuning. The girl brings water that i didn’t order, and bread that I never eat. When I noticed the price in the bill differs from the card - started pressing that food should be with bread. And on my joke - never cola and never bread (that is normal from my point of view for a health leaving) she asks why restaurant? Guys, restaurants are not for drinking cola and eating bread) it is small extras but it is not polite to put it the bill without asking.

UPD of course it is rude to ask anything like this as you should know that not everyone drink alcohol, cola and eat a lot of food. I order the amount of food I want to eat and it is normal for any normal restaurant all over the world. And it is the first time I meet...
