A “Moscow Mule” without ginger beer just pretends to be fancy but will never be a Moscow Mule
It’s just a lounge pretending to be fancy as a Moscow Mule without ginger beer will never be a Moscow Mule.
I love lunge clubs: usually are a fancy places with warm athmosphere where you can relax, enjoy music, have some small tapas and good choices of drinks... it’s a perfect mix to make your night enjoyable.
Me and kasssienkaofficial (300K followers) decided to spend our thuersday night at the AER lounge. We booked a table but we didn’t get any information about any dress code, btw we never had any problem about that before. On time there, we were informed that we couldn’t get our booked table because I was wearing slippers and as per policy no slippers are allowed. We got a table at the bar separated from all other people because not fitting the standard level requested, it was frustrating. At the end of the evening, before leaving, I spoke directly with the manager in order to share our point of view and understand better their point of view. That time I could understand as per their policy that: are allowed “dirty casual trousers (not shorts) and old dirty sneakers (as it was really there) but “not slippers at all even if fancy and stylish”. Words, these, clearly confimed to me by the manager! So we realised that we don’t belong and we don’t agree to this kind of philosophy and we left with the feeling that EAR just pretend to be a fancy place but it’s far away from being it.
About drinks and food:
Food is very good I liked it. My tuna tartare was good but maybe it should be called avocado tartare as the main ingredient is avocado and not tuna (as shown in the picture) Drink: my second drink was a good Negroni. The main concern is about the first one. I ordered a Moscow mule but came something far away from a Moscow. When I asked, they told me it’s a Moscow Mule 100%. Came then the barman asking what’s wrong, and confirming that he made a Moscow mule in regular way. Only after sometimes he told me that the ginger beer was finished so he made it without it.... again .... EAR just pretends to be fancy.
Dubai has a plenty of good places where to spend and enjoy your night.... this is not...
Read morePLEASE READ my review thoroughly as it comes in two. First review and photos are taken on 8th of March Friday evening. Susil Was our server throughout the night extremely attentive making sure that we were well taken care of throughout the night, ambiance / vibe was lovely the DJ was playing mix international music that caters to everyone's tastes. Our Shisha was handled by both Abu jasem & Ahmed both are excellent in what they do. posh classy crowd that evening & The night ended on a great note.
NOW March the 9th we decided to choose AER Again for our closing season party before Ramadan given the fact we had loved our first two experience at this venue, I had invited a friend of mine who was on a visit from The UK so she can experience my new favorite lounge for the first time. We ordered a beef burger sliders really delicious & a bottle of red wine and almost 12 tequila shots 2 jäger bomb and two shisha's The night kicked off on a great note with the lovely kanchi being our server for the night and as the night went along the crowd was getting hyped by the DJ however out of the blue two guys seated in front of us kept stomping and standing on the same sofas they were seated on! What a horrible thought to imagine that can be anyone's sofa for the night yet when I asked the manager to do something about it "the management ( lins) replied me with" this is normal and it happens in every club in Dubai"... What a disappointing answer!! certain posh high end lounges maintain high standards for their venue to pull the crowd, Eventually with the help of another supervisor they were asked to have fun yet refrain from standing on the sofa.. The night continued Despite all that we ordered tequila shots for us & some of the staff who were serving our table which was super fun, We really love AER & would like to continue being their regular clients Last but not least Akila had surprised us with a screen display shout out. Great guy you made our night...

As advertised Frivolous Friday from 9 pm to 2 am with DJ Hot Box + Violinist Bashir + Dancers was all fake, when we asked what's up its very dead no great music, no DJ, no Violinist & Dancers? they said it will start at 11:30 pm whereas it was supposed to start at 9pm and we waited but time kept passing and nothing!!!
When we spoke to Manager Harish at 12:30 am he said it was all cancelled but he didn't pass us the info, he did charge us in full but the entertainment for which we went was not fulfilled not existing!!!
We do respect every occasion more than anyone can imagine but by making us spent thousands and spoiling our special day is not acceptable!!! this info of cancellation should be shared that they will cancel all program so that we can make other arrangements and not spoil our day.
Additionally we request track Rikshawala to be played they said this cannot be played, following that we requested Happy Birthday and Hai Garmi, they played Hai Garmi and did not play Happy Birthday, how funny on Birthday they don't pay Birthday song or we have to select one.
Manager Harish is very good in teaching you all the rules, giving all the excuses and he does nothing except making you feel you are under his mercy and he is making right decision by making Costumers Unhappy!!!
I suggest to avoid this place for your special occasion as these guys are not capable to make a...
