📍Rose Rayhaan Hotel in Dubai located downtown right next to Gevora hotel ( highest hotel in the world ) 60+ floors with possible view on the Burj Khalifa, buffet breakfast and cheap for this standard 🍹 #creatorsearchinsights #fyp #city #uae #dubai

We were there this past weekend to attend a formal event at the Museum of the Future (MOTF). This hotel is decently priced, especially being on SZR in Dubai, and is a 5-minute drive / 15-minute walk to MOTF. First, the service at the check-in process was not what we’ve grown accustomed to at Rotana Hotels. I stood back and waited because one person was assisting two ladies who were checking out, and the other (Rosa) was on the phone, seemingly assisting another client; understandable. When she got off the phone, she scowled at me as if I had addressed someone; I had not. So, I informed her that I was trying to check in. She rudely said, “okay”, and shrugged her shoulders. Mind you, I was being polite and waiting for one of them to give me the okay to approach the counter. As we were checking in, two men came from the lift corridor, suitcases in tow. Rosa asked us to step back and let her check them out. WOW! That immediately showed me that my husband and I were not welcome, and our business was not appreciated. No problem, though. We just stepped to the side and waited as she checked the gentlemen out. That night, we came to the lobby wearing formal wear, heading to the event at MOTF. A young lady (long, blonde ponytail; didn’t get her name) asked if she could secure us a taxi. Although we drove, we did not want to drive to MOTF and hassle with parking. So, we asked her to get a taxi for us. We told her we were going to MOTF (a 5-minute drive on the frontage road). She told us it would be 50 AED. Not wanting to (or thinking we had to) haggle the cost, we agreed to pay the astronomical fee. Even the driver was shocked that we were paying 50 AED. The driver of the black Mercedes van said nothing to us. However, he did attempt to drop us off quite a ways from the door to avoid waiting in the taxi line. WoW! Mind you, the taxi driver on the way back said it was no fee since the distance was so close. We did tip him 20 AED, though. Yes, the drive was actually about 12 AED in a regular taxi, and 30 AED, at most, in a luxury taxi. We did walk everywhere else we went; we just did not want to walk in our formal gown and tuxedo, so we paid the gouged 50 AED. I must comment Bonanna! Although the lobby was busy, she remained very helpful, friendly, and professional, making sure everyone was helped and all questions were answered. Although the hotel is a bit dated by Dubai standards, it is very well-maintained and clean. Plus, it’s in an excellent location; right off SZR and walking distance to the MOTF, RTA Metro, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.

Myself and family came as part of a large West African contingent to explore the wonderful sights and attractions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Having stayed at the Rose Rayhaan for the duration, and speaking on behalf of my family, we were all thoroughly impressed with the level of service and professionalism of the staff at the hotel. From the reception team, additional ground floor staff (including Michael, Abdul and Ayo) and the additional colleagues who managed taxi bookings, opening of doors and general security) to the porters (one was very polite and patient with us on the first day when there was confusion with our rooms) and restaurant team on the 1st and 3rd floor we were always made to feel valued and supported with any and all requests and issues. The hotel is kept very clean including A/C and vents (not always the case in some other hotels we have visited across the world where the vents are dusty so the air is of poor quality causing squeezing and headaches etc). Special mention to the staff who managed the cleaning of our rooms on floor 20 (Imran Ahmed and Judy) as they constantly kept our rooms tidy on a daily basis. Imran even took the time to make lovely decorations (please see pics). In addition we want to thank Walid who supported us also on the 16th floor with room cleaning. 🙏 In terms of constructive feedback I'd say the hotel lifts were a nightmare at peak times (8:30 till 11am) and again around 7pm till 9/10pm. That's due to the hotel having over 70 floors so it's understandable when breakfast and dinner is served there's going to be a rush. Don't know how this can be better managed but something for future guests to be aware of. Additionally if you aren't at the pools by 7:30am there won't be much space for you at the pool as all the loungers will be used and minimal space to do any laps. The pool is also quite small unfortunately. Back to positives and I'd say the buffet breakfast , lunch and dinner is very nice. Plenty of options available. All in all the experience was lovely and we will definitely look to use this hotel again when we hopefully visit the region again. Thanks all (too many names but all great people)

Terrific Location | Superb service | Exotic ambiance | Great Views

A wonderful & luxurious place to stay near iconic Dubai landmarks, with terrific service levels!

Rose Rayhaan is the fifth tallest hotel building in the world and after staying there, you can surely vouch the highest quality standards that it maintains as well

I opted to stay here for my anniversary and it was a surprise stay for my wife (as she wasn't aware of the great customer service to be expected) and for myself as well

POSITIVES

(+) I got in touch with Mr. Deniz Ozgun (Guest Relations) before reaching the place, who assured me of the best service and experience even before my arrival. Upon arrival, he went out of the way to ensure my stay was supremely awesome :) Special room, Burj Khalifa view, anniversary cake and a customized room decor was arranged to make us go over the moon. We both are extremely grateful to him and wish him all the best for future success

(+) The location of Rose Rayhaan is one of the best things about it. Located in the heart of Dubai which is the Financial center, it offers proximity to many city landmarks like Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, Museum of Future etc. Finance center metro station is a 3 mins walk

(+) Internally the place is very well maintained with modern furnishings, ample room space, cleanliness & exquisite decor to match a varied range of guests.

(+) We stayed at the 43rd floor which was quite & peaceful, with only 10 rooms on the same floor

(+) One of the most unique things about the place is its FREE valet service. Given the high traffic flow and guests rush, you can drop off your vehicle 24x7 at the hotel entrance and it will be taken to the hotel parking

(+) Service levels are really good, with room service & reception being quite attentive & on-spot with their responses

(+) The hotel offers four different types of restaurants, bars and coffee shops, each specializing in its own areas e.g., Italian, Intercontinental cuisines etc.

(+) The pool bar is located on the forth floor, crossing the bridge at the back. Again very supportive staff who is quick to attend & serve you for all requests

(+) Many types of coffee shops and restaurants are nearby at walking distance so you can enjoy to your best

NEGATIVES - Not many to list honestly

(-) The lobby is a bit tight given the plot size of the building. It becomes claustrophobic when too many people are present at the same time there

(-) Lifts aren't fast enough and take a long time to reach your floor

Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED place for business or pleasure (with and without...
