The worst tourism related experience I have ever had. Drove us 50km from Dubai and then told us everything we had paid for was rubbish and an upgrade would be 800 Dirhams and this was for the FIRST activity. Proceeded to bully, harass, speak over us, ignore our persistent requests to stop selling to us for over an hour š±š±š±. Stopped us from organising a taxi to escape. Begged us to carry on with tour. They work with loads of subcontractors. You cannot tell who works for them/ who is taking backhanders from them/who is in on the scam/ what is included/ what is extra. You donāt know where you are going. Constantly changing vehicles in different combinations of people. Really unsettling and disorienting. They cram people into full Land Rovers and the person in the middle of the back seat bashed her head twice because when you are being thrown around on the sand dunes, that seat is not fit for purpose as it has big metal rods above it, fixed onto the ceiling. The camp was like a gypsy camp š±š±š±. The food was like prison slops. Disgusting looking curries, containers open. You donāt know who works there. People come and sell all kinds of utterly disgusting sub standard tourist tat every two minutes. I ate an apple and an orange for my dinner. There is no way I was touching that ābuffetā and I have backpacked all over the world. Mostly in developing countries. I waited an hour for a coffee the only thing I asked for. VIP snacks? Samosa with ketchup. š±š±š±. Toilets? Donāt flush, no paper. One soap for entire block. Traders miserable and nasty. Camel man told us not to stand near his camel and to go to the FREE camel (one foot away). When I politely said we didnāt want to pay to see his camel he said āno money no camel NOW GO!ā It was a total scam. A racket. A con. A disgrace to the UAE and its tourism business. Never ever would I wish this company on my worst enemy. It was 7.5 hours of hell and I couldnāt wait to get back to civilisation....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDO NOT BOOK ANYTHING WITH THIS COMPANY.
I wish I could give it a ZERO āļø
1st the drive Mjpt was very unprofessional driving crazy over speed the whole time and putting our lives in risk. Weāve questioned why he was Over speeding and asked him to reduce the speed and he said that was part of company procedures over speed during the trip to promote us a truth experience. + he just wants to make money in us on Everything
2nd once we got there we have to wait more than 1 hour before going to the actual dunes, making us to not have time to watch the sunset and taking picture because once we got there the sunset was already gone.
3rd once weāve finished on the dunes the car was broken ( probably due to overspending) and we have to wait 30+mins on the desert road waiting to go to the desert camp to watch the live entertainment shows which we havenāt watched because was over already once we got there, the food was horrible and no Live BBQ for dinner. All of this was happening and we didnāt have any explanation of what was going on.
4th We didnāt have camel Ride; We didnāt have Sand boarding; We didnāt have dresses for photography mto even photography; We didnāt have started food at desert camp and no refreshments drinks at all. We didnāt have any explanation of what was going on and all times we had to go in and out of random peopleās car whose doesnāt even work for the company.
5th On the way back home was another 30+ mins waiting for a random person, not even part of the company to organise someone to drive us back home and when they fit us in the car was one more person making the trip illegal and very uncomfortable for the passengers, yes this kid had to go on his mumās lap.
Itās clear from the other reviews that the company donāt want to promote us a good experience and the only thing they wants to do is make money...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently experienced this desert safari with my parents for the first time and was very disappointed by the arrangements. The points that were added on the website either need to be paid an additional cost or just minimal for name sake.
The sandboarding equipment was outdated and poorly maintained, there was just 1 equipment for the entire crowd that visited resulting in a frustrating experience.
The camel ride is name sake. There is a small area where they let you sit on the camel and an additional cost for pictures otherwise a picture is clicked from an iPhone and sent on WhatsApp which is basic.
The food, a crucial part of any safari, was another disappointment. Buffet starts only a hour before the trip ends. The entire day we were not provided anything and ended up buying food at double price there. The meal was supposedly unlimited but after 1 serve the buffet is taken off. To make matters worse, the facilities were inadequate, with insufficient seating and poor cleanliness.
The mehendi was name sake. Just on 1 finger. If we wanted the entire palm we had to pay an additional charge. Coke was provided which was diluted with water and ice. Seating arrangements have an additional change to sit ahead otherwise space at the back is provided.
I can go on.. In short there is an additional costs...
