Cool gym with all the essential equipment, and the receptionist staff are polite and welcoming. However, the trainers seem underqualified and lack experience. There are no clear instruction boards, and the space feels overcrowded.
During my workout, I used squat rack weights for calf raises. Two trainers were watching me the entire time and even gave instructions on how to properly use the seated calf raise machine. Despite their involvement, neither of them mentioned that the weights I used should be returned to the squat rack afterward. Later, while I was in the middle of a cardio session on the cycle, a younger trainer interrupted me to ask that I return the weights, this something that should have been addressed earlier by the trainers who were actively observing and guiding me.
Interrupting someone during cardio, especially when heart rate and breathing are elevated, is not only disruptive but also reflects poor training etiquette. In my 15+ years of gym experience, including time at larger international gyms, I’ve never seen a trainer stop someone mid-cardio to enforce equipment rules. He should have told me to keep the weights back once I am done with my cardio instead of stopping me in the middle
There are no visible signs or instruction in the walls indicating equipment usage protocols. I joined due to proximity to my apartment. The gym needs serious improvements in trainer professionalism, signage and cleanliness (like cleaning the cardio machines at regular time intervals by some housekeeping staff)
PS: I have used such calves machine back in 2018 (before 7 years), all these recent years I have been using standing calves raises with hydraulic weights (up to 100kg). Also, I am into gym and workout for more than 15 years. I think I can be a better trainer than anyone...

In fact, all the gyms I’ve previously attended have had approachable and supportive staff—regardless of whether or not you had a personal trainer. They were always willing to assist, especially when it came to beginners who needed help with the equipment.
Unfortunately, my experience at Vijo has been completely different. Some staff and trainers here seem indifferent and unapproachable. Instead of offering guidance or support, they simply watch as newcomers struggle with the machines. On the rare occasion you try to ask for help, they either ignore you or give you a look as if you're invisible or bothering them.
I would like to specifically call out the behavior of one particular trainer—a short guy wearing glasses who was especially rude and arrogant. Rather than assisting me when I needed help, he chose to ignore me. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, especially in a place that should be promoting fitness, encouragement, and community.
