Sonamu Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

Have you ever considered trying Korean Cuisine? My niece is a big fan of Korean famous Bank BTS and due to her love for BTS she got into knowing Korean cuisine. She recommended us to try and find some authentic best Korean restaurant in Dubai. We started our research and eventually found out Sonamu. Why Sonamu? Because James (The Head Chef) has served the VIPs of Korea and definitely he is no joke. This was our first ever expereince of Korean food and before I go into detail of food I must tell you after Thai, Korean cuisine has become one of my favourite due to their unique cooking techniques. We started of with Starters like Salmon Salad, Tofu with Kimchi, kimbap (Korean Sushi). Every thing served really had those flavors which we needed to understand the true culture of Korea. Then we moved to mains where we tried Black Cod which was just perfect, the Tkeokbokki which was good but it was difficult for us to chew rice cake and finally the show stopper which we were waiting for the whole night 'The famous Korean Bbq'. We are not joking when we tell you that their Korean BBQ was the most delicious bbq I ever had, their beef briskets were simply amazing and we would want to have it over and over again.

We would definitely rate it a 5 star based on their tasty and high quality food with the true flavours of Korea, the vibrant ambiance and friendly people...

Visited Sonamu Restaurant at Asiana Hotel and opted for the all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ set menu, which turned out to be an impressive culinary experience. The menu featured a well-curated selection of dishes, all beautifully presented, enhancing both the visual and dining experience.

The meal began with a delicate seared salmon dish, perfectly cooked and served over a bed of elegantly arranged enoki mushrooms, setting the tone for what was to come. Shortly after, an assortment of traditional Korean starters was brought to the table, including marinated spinach, classic kimchi, and crunchy bean sprouts, each offering a distinct flavor profile that complemented the main courses.

The highlight of the meal was, of course, the Korean BBQ selection, featuring an array of premium meat cuts, tender chicken, and fresh sushi. Each piece was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection on the tableside grill, allowing for an interactive and flavorful dining experience. To add variety, the meal also included a hearty serving of seafood udon noodles, packed with rich umami flavors.

To conclude, a decadent chocolate lava cake was served alongside ice cream and fresh berries, providing the perfect balance of indulgence and sweetness. Sonamu’s combination of refined presentation, authentic flavors, and excellent service made for a truly satisfying Korean...

Each of them went above and beyond to ensure everything was handled smoothly and with genuine care, which reflects their strong commitment to delivering outstanding service.

What impressed me most was how attentive and approachable they were. They addressed every concern promptly, assisted with patience, and made sure that I felt valued and well taken care of. It’s not often that you come across a team that consistently demonstrates such efficiency combined with warmth and respect, and I believe their efforts deserve to be recognized.
