Ridge Chippy — Local services in Birmingham

I recently ordered from The Ridge Chippy for myself and my family, and we were all blown away! We went big with a large doner kebab, buttered chips, a selection of pies, wraps, and a generous portion from their new Peri Peri menu. Every item was fantastic, and there was something to please everyone.

The Peri Peri wings were a family favorite—perfectly seasoned, tender, and with just the right amount of spice. They were some of the best wings we’ve had in a long time. The chicken and rice boxes were also a hit. The rice was fluffy and packed with flavor, and the chicken was juicy and full of spice, a perfect balance for everyone at the table.

What really stood out, beyond the delicious food, was the excellent customer service. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making sure our large order was perfect and that we had everything we needed. Their friendly attitude made the experience even better for all of us.

We've been going here for many years and thought we had built a good relationship with the owners. However, our latest order failed to live up to expectations as it had a hair within the chips themselves. We went back to the shop and I thought I would pull them to the side and tell them quietly as I didn't want other customers to get put off but before I even walked through the door I was told there was nothing they can do, without even asking what the issue is. When I mentioned there was a hair in the chips again I was told in a raised that it isn't there problem. They didn't show any customer loyalty towards us, did not try and rectify their mistake and only after prompting and repeating myself over and over again they reluctantly gave us the money back. When suggesting that they should keep hair up and wear hair nets I was told that she cooks for her family at home who don't have a problem but family and customers are two very different things. After this experience I would not be going back and definitely would not recommend them due to poor customer service and very poor hygiene. 1 star is being too generous, its a shame google doesn't...

Order today on just eat food I'm not going to talk about or the restaurant but the delivery woman is very rude, she shouldn't be doing the job if she's got kids in the car as she wouldn't come up to the flat then when I said I'm not happy with the service that I paid £15 for she says I could be anyone, like don't flatter yourself all you had to do was apologise, and as for me calling you a old hag don't flatter yourself saying your a young woman who I would take advantage of, how dare you come to my home and throw around accusations around just because I think the service isn't good, I've not been well for a few days that's why I ordered wouldn't order hear again even though I was screamed at and told to go on a diet,and yelled i ive been abusive and cant order from hear again, like i would, so thanks Ridge Chippy for such...
