No.393 — Restaurant in Birmingham

This cafe is honestly the best i’ve ever been to! Definitely recommend and if you are looking for a traditional cafe meal but something less basic this is the place for you. The food is perfectly seasoned and never fails to come out of the kitchen warm it also has a Carribbean twist allowing you to enjoy a side of plantain, fishcakes, callaloo ect. The atmosphere is great, there is always reggae and other carribean music playing in the background whilst you eat and the owner and waiters will always greet you with a smile and interact with you to ensure they give you the best experience possible. The cafe is very clean and has got a very nice ambiance. I also loved the drinks as there is a various amount of options and things I have never seen before such as the dragonfruit and mango cooler which I loved but the hot chocolate is definitively my favourite (we bought 4 🤣) If you decide to come you need to try it. I dont usually write reviews and stuff but i have to say something about no.393 Quinton. I am usually very critical when it comes to “carribean” cuisine but this place is a straight 10/10. I sat in the cafe after my meal and “tried” to find one negative about my experience, I couldn’t find ONE!!. I had the island brunch and im telling you now, you wont find a better “yard” breakfast in the midlands and thats FACTS. The calaloo was seasoned to perfection! The fritters was full of flavour! The beans done in a way “we” only know too well “wid honion” lol. My mrs had mushrooms and even they were seasoned with something, im guessing all purpose seasoning? Unfortunately, I had to update my review to reflect my most recent experience. I reserved a table for my birthday on bank holiday but was so disappointed,When we arrived there was a stunning table made up which I thought was so lovely of the staff however this was not for us and nobody was sitting there so we sat at a free table near the door where we was unable to hear due to being under the speaker and the music was very loud(although good music)we were eventually given menus but no kids menu for the little one,When the food came out the eggs were not cooked properly and Unfortunately could not eat these.I have been here several times and chose to bring my family for my birthday but this time was so disappointed and especially upset that it was my birthday,I did leave another review but uncertain if...
