I am extremely disappointed with the service at Greggs over the past three days. Each day, I have encountered the same frustrating issue: long wait times due to a severe lack of staff. There has consistently been only one person working at the front and one person in the back, which is simply not sufficient to handle the customer volume.
The lines are unbearably long, and the wait times have been unacceptable. It's clear that this isn't an isolated incident but a recurring problem that has not been addressed. The few staff members present are doing their best, but it's obvious they are overwhelmed and unable to keep up with demand.
This level of service is not what I expect from Greggs, and it is causing significant inconvenience. I hope management takes immediate action to resolve these staffing issues, as it is negatively impacting the customer experience. Until then, I will be reconsidering my choice to visit...
Read moreI would give this Greggs a 0 if I could. The ‘hot’ food which is sold to customers is of shocking condition. The pizzas are BURNT and COLD. The staff don’t even both to tell you this, they just put it into the paper bag and make you pay. I’m not even talking about cold food that you can still eat. It is rock solid. The pastries have burnt edges etc. I have visited this place many times and every time I go there is some sort of an issue with the way the food has been made. I understand some places cannot provide excellent food 100% of the time but this place is a joke. I have made a complaint as myself and others are paying for food we can’t eat unless we want our teeth to chip. The area manager needs to come take a look at the service which is provided to customers by the staff not bothering to tell customers what state the product they want is in, especially if it is uneatable....
Read moreAbsolutely appalling staff working on Thursday, there is 1 girl there that actually opens and makes food correctly, but other than that, they open late (20-30 minutes later) they make food incorrectly and the older woman gets an attitude when you mention it. If it was a one time thing, thats fine, but its happens every single week, and i hope that one young girl that does get it right gets the acknowledgement that she is doing her job correctly and very well.
