Roller Disco on Saturdays 15:30pm - 16:30pm Average hall size but makes up with the staff teaching the public. From slalom (going in and out of cones) to party games like limbo It’s base indoors ( the badminton court) and with the lights off; has a great party feel with the disco lights on. Skaters change directions every 10/20mins to skate and the Marshalls skate along helping those that require tweaking their skating skills. For friendliness and family atmosphere 10/10

Great staff. A place to get active and socialise. Loads of fitness classes to enjoy. Stretch classes and yoga highly recommended. The gym is very spacious and as loads of equipment quiet in the day time. Loads of things for kid to do And there's a Costa too . For the catch up chat after your all worked out .

Love the location, neighborhood and particularly the running track. Was lucky to join the John Taylor Hospice sunset walk for a cause organized by them too. And generally most grateful for my Wyndley driving test that got me to learn about the leisure center too.

I don’t really know from what point to start …! If should be an 0 star i should give 0 bcs they really does not deserve even 1 star is to much for the pool … at the reception they are completely 0 they don’t have idea about the swimming lessons ,teachers they don’t even know the staff the teachers names … second the Teachers and Lifeguard are in very joung age and most of them talking all the time with each other and does not really look to the children … i am scary to leave my child under their attention as by a moment they can drown in the pool as their mind is not to the children but talking and laugin to each other … Swimming instructor with trainers outside the water and children indide the water …. Is that a new method teaching???? Terrible …..!!!(a young boy i unfortunately don’t know his name … (his sister also working in the front office same 0 idea about slots and teachers ) Swimming instructor Georgie a jung girl she must definitely not been working there i watch her since 2-3 months she never teach the children except 5 minutes in a 30 min slot and all the 25 minutes talking to her collegues and laughs not even care about teaching the children and most of the time she leaves them unatended definitely she should not be a swimming instructor she is boring all the time boring to live her life imagine how boring she is to teach the children … you must got the licence from her !!!that swimming pool supposed to be one of the best but sutton coldfield does’nt deserve it !!! Change completely the teaching staff except Mr Mark and the (Chinese guy swimming instructor sorry i don’t know his name )and all the other staff front office and swimming instructor they are not doing absolutely NOTHINGGGGG! We definitely pay for nothing !!!! Other parents has the same opinion and definitely they going to look for another...

So I was a member with the leisure group for over 5 years and attended wyndley for my final 2 years.

I got more fit through attending these facilities. In particular the pilates classes with Amanda are great! She's an attentive instructor and one of the best trainers I've worked with. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately recently it seems like the gym has been been working with schools and sixth forms, as the gym floor is filled with kids under the age of 16 during peak hours 15:00-18:00. As a result the changing rooms and bathrooms are unkempt especially during these hours. I'm all for everyone getting fit and healthy but the staff are not helping these kids by giving them memberships without helping them in the gym which brings me to my following concern.

Some of the staff at the gym here are very rude especially in an around closing time. At one point they would turn the hot water off in the shower to 'encourage people to leave in time for closing'.

More recently I've had passive aggressive staff tell everyone the need to leave the gym 10 minutes before closing time. In the 2 years I've attended wyndley I've not once have I been offered a pt lesson and there's a lack of presence of trainers in and around the gym floor until it's time to rush everyone out which is a shame!

The swimming baths require an update but aside from that the equipment here is good, everything you need to get in decent shape is there. It is a shame that there seems to be so many factors bringing the establishment down overall.

As the school term is back on I've cancelled my...

Price: The price depending on your pocket maybe slightly dear. You pay approx 8 pounds for 40 minutes, compared to some leisure centres/ clubs charging for the hour ( yes the 20 minutes make a difference).

Facilities: there are five badminton courts. The nets are in good condition. You can also rent racquets etc. our group normally book in advance over the phone. Changing rooms/ toilets good.

Staff: Sme staff have have been really friendly to us (thank you), but as is human nature, we have, consistently and perhaps sadly come across other staff who have a tendency to be patronising and rude.

For example on one occasion, after playing a regular game, our group made a couple of enquiries about future games and opening times at reception, the receptionist seemed quite frustrated, flustered and started pointing to timetables and spoke in what we all agreed was a condescending and frankly rude manner.

Avoiding any conflict, we agreed in the group (later on) that perhaps, this is simply the way she normally spoke after having witnessed this behaviour with another group as well. There must be a realisation that customers pay for a reason, being courteous and friendly goes a long way :)

Summary: the facilities are good to play badminton. The pricing should be adjusted to at most an hour's play. SOME staff can be condescending/rude, this is variable. i would suggest to not let it bother you, perhaps its just in their nature? Don't let it spoil your game :)
