First time visit today - we will be coming back. The first waitress was quick to seat us with menus, which are pretty extensive. The second waitress was a little too eager to take our order; we had only just started looking through the menu, but was happy to wait. We eventually settled on the choc chip cookie dough with salted caramel ice cream (of which there is a vast choice of flavours), a strawberry gelato milkshake, and the Brookie. We were also given a taster plate of 4 macarons. These were far less favourable than our order. The waitress wasn't sure of the flavours, but we guessed at 2 x coffee, which we didnt try as we dislike coffee, 1 x pistachio, which didnt taste of anything, and 1 x strawberry, which was quite nondescript, just sweet. As they were complimentary it didnt matter much but if we had paid £9.99 for a box of them, we would be disappointed, from what we tried. All of them were prepared quickly and were delicious, the Brookie being a particular favourite. Although parking is a bit of an issue, particularly for those who are less able, we are looking forward to coming back again, and will likely recommend it.

A short of expectation experience. Despite the social media ‘hype’ and action packed menu, the taste and quality falls well behind other rival dessert shops. After 25 minutes wait, whilst the entire restaurant sits idle, the deserts we ordered were nothing more than what could have been a Sunday night home made waffle and a mediocre peanut cake. The waffles and cakes lake creativity, but the focus seems to be on chocolate coverings. A 10 year old could deliver the same or even better quality. The first 1 star in this review can be reserved for the ice cream served with the deserts. Although edible, and somewhat enjoyable, the recipes here are nothing more than chocolate covered overhyped copy cat deserts you can buy even at your high end local supermarket. The cake lacked softness and freshness, whilst the peanuts topping remained the highlight. Overall, a treat that you can find elsewhere at a better price and quality.

I had a great experience at Treatz Sutton Coldfield! The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed—perfect for enjoying a sweet treat. I ordered the chocolate waffle and a white chocolate crepe with fruits, and both were amazing. The waffle was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in rich chocolate. The crepe was light and perfectly cooked, and the white chocolate went so well with the fresh fruit. The portions were generous, and everything was presented really well. Service was quick, even though it was quite busy, and the staff made sure everything was spot on. If you're looking for a great dessert spot in Sutton Coldfield, I’d definitely recommend Treatz

I just had to take a moment to shout out the incredible service we received from Isabella at Treatz Dessert Shop in Sutton Coldfield. She truly went above and beyond to accommodate my daughter, who has ADHD, and made our visit so much more than just a stop for dessert.

From the moment we walked in, Isabella showed such kindness, patience, and understanding. She instinctively picked up on what my daughter needed—without making her feel different or uncomfortable. She took the time to explain the options clearly, gave us space when we needed it, and even helped adapt our order to better suit my daughter’s sensory sensitivities.

It might seem like a small thing to some, but for us, it meant the world. Dining out can sometimes be a challenge, but thanks to Isabella, our experience was smooth, joyful, and stress-free. My daughter left beaming—and so did I.

Treatz is lucky to have someone like Isabella. She’s not just serving desserts; she’s creating meaningful experiences for families like mine. We’ll definitely be back—and recommending this place to everyone we know!

Thank you, Isabella—you...
