Bristol - iQ Student Accommodation — Local services in Bristol

Stayed for around 8 months so far. Really friendly staff who have been helpful with enquiries. Parcels can be received and held at reception so it is quite convenient to purchase stuff online.

Got my room refurbished (platinum studio) recently, the work is prompt and completed without major issues. Attached picture was taken on night of refurbishment. LED lights of study table provides good lighting for video calls. The room also has a ceiling light that is able to light up the whole room sufficiently. The ensuite toilet/shower is on the small side, slightly larger than typical Japanese business hotel’s toilet/shower, but still very usable.

It is centrally located at BS1, so it is convenient to travel around Bristol, and out of town as the Bristol bus station is just downstairs. Can be noisy from the police cars and ambulances as this IQ is situated by the Bear Pit which has moderately high car traffic. Do invest in a pair of decent in-ear/noise...

Probably the best student accommodation in Bristol! The location is perfect as everything is walking distance such as going to university and to the city center. The rooms are great and comfortable and the common room can be used for studying and hanging out with friends. The staff is super friendly and whenever there is a problem they are willing to fix it. However, the lifts are very slow which means it takes a long time to get down and this causes big problems when you are in a hurry. Also for studios there are not any ovens provided. Unfortunately the gym is very small and only 2-3 people max can fit in at the same time. It could have been slightly larger with some new equipment (e.g. mats and body balance ball). Also for the first 5 floors it is very noisy as the building is located opposite the roundabout so there is a lot of noise coming from cars, buses and lorries. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend for students...

I had a great experience staying at IQ Bristol. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available to offer support or advice whenever needed. The accommodation has high security standards, which made me feel safe throughout my stay.

There were also a variety of events organized around different holidays and seasons, often with free food and useful giveaways, which helped create a fun and welcoming community atmosphere.

The location is excellent — just a short walk to the city centre and the main bus station, making it very convenient for getting around. It’s also surrounded by plenty of food options. The rooms are relatively new, well-maintained, and perfectly sized for student living.
