The empanadas change daily. The pastry is so light and fresh and they are fat with fillings. Came out with Yuka fries. They are also FAT! Soft on the inside and a crispy textured coating where you not only feel the crunchy but the person next to you will hear it! I fought my dining partner for these! They do come with a sauce topping but we’re the perfect food to try the Mojo Mayo, Spicy Sauce & the Jackfruit Ketchup. I would buy this if they sold jars. They are help yourself & nice to see the dates put on the bottles.
Next up was the Classic Cuban sandwich-fresh Cuban bread I’d describe as an airy panini. Great crunch. Juicy pork was saucy, cheese and a slight tang from the pickle & mustard. Dining partner chose the beef burger-big stack with a juicy grilled patty, Avocado & crispy crunchy shoestring fries inside the bun.
The tiny fries added so much texture. Everything we shared had a focus on taste but also mixing up various textures.
Sat inside with Cuban tunes at a good level to still easily hear each other chat quietly. Everything is bright in colour, even the little baskets. Regret not trying any drinks but the fact that we takes about how tasty the food was all day and were craving more of it for dinner is a guarantee we will be back.

Read moreMy husband (Chilean) and I (from California) ate here for the first time and it was immediately one of our new favourite places. We ordered the classic cubano, frita cubana, chicken emanada, and the tostones (fried plantains). Everything was DELICIOUS, and for two people who have high standards for latin food, this was chef's kiss. The guava ketchup on the frita cubana was so yummy and balanced very well with the warming spice of the smashed pork. The classic cubano was expertly done and tasted perfect. I should caveat that my husband and I have never been to Miami, but we imagine the food there would taste like this. I call it a win when my South American husband takes one bite of the food and immediately says "this is latin food". FIVE STARS!
If I had one note, it would be to have more space to dine - either inside or outside. We got lucky and snagged a place in the...
Read moreI recently stumbled upon this amazing Cuban sandwich shop, and I have to say, it exceeded all my expectations! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home. But the real star of the show is the food.
The Cuban sandwich is an absolute must-try—crispy on the outside, packed with tender, flavorful roasted pork. Every bite was perfection. The bread was fresh and perfectly pressed, adding that authentic crunch you crave in a classic Cuban.
I also tried the yuca fries on the side, and they were delicious complements to the sandwich. It’s clear they use quality ingredients and take pride in every dish.
If you’re a fan of Cuban cuisine or just looking for a fantastic sandwich, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming...
