my lord, when i first came here, the food was quite literally the best chippy i have had in years.. fresh food, tasty chips with a crisp on the outside, but fluffy and light on the inside. fish cakes were well seasoned and cooked. it was just all round great, and short delivery as i live right round the corner.

however, we went there a few more times (ordered online), baring in mind we live right round the corner, a 5 minute drive at the VERY VERY most. and the wait times became longer and longer and longer. which tbh, i dont usually mind, as i acknowledge others are also ordering food. but the problem is, the food quality has dipped in my experiences. chips taste like theyve been cooked in old oil, or they're the older batch. often mixed between certain chips being over cooked, and some being moderately under cooked/firm.. the fishcake batter burnt and bland.. the the waiting times horribly long considering the short distance. it just isnt the 5 star chippy it once was, as the quality of food has severely dropped. i would highly suggest ordering from uber or deliveroo from a place called "the city restaurant" or something along them lines. much better quality food, and arrived tasty, hot,...

So first of all the delivery was 20 mins early, I was deep in my homeboy in a strait way when I got that call, he missed his does of sweetness. When we opened the food I myself got a smoked sausage supper with brown sauce, first of all I could get more chips with one potato and my 12 year old son could spurt more nut than how much brown sauce they gave me. My normal smoked sausage had the texture of a crispy 3rd limb ;). My guy got chips with cheese and the cheese both looked and tasted like it came from the bottom of the head chefs...

Ordered 4 items, they sent 2and a half. When I phoned to tell them I was told that's what I had ordered. I most certainly wasn't. I bit my tongue and had the rest sent. They messed it up again and when I phoned to complain they argued with me that they had sent what I asked for which was not the case then accused me of being at it...very arrogant and hostile towards me when I am a paying customer who had used them for years. This is the 4rth time in recent months they gave managed to mess up my orders. Will never...
