Me and my friend went here for our "national fish and chips day" celebration (it's not, but every year we get fish and chips on the exact same day) (by every year we mean it's happened twice). It was gorgeous gorgeous food. Really enjoyed. Lovely service, the man gave us free sauce because he thought we needed to try the Edinburgh way. This place is incredible!! I saw it from the bus and looked up their menu. I was shocked when I saw they had gluten free fish and chips! I thought I wouldn’t be able to have fish and chips anywhere. The food was delightful and we got a whole spread! We used the mushy peas and curry sauce as dips and got the onion rings and mushrooms (my partner is not gf). The interior is beautiful as well, and they have a small seating area in the front. Looks like most people get take away here, but we enjoyed sitting so our food didn’t get soggy in the rain. Possibly the best fish and chips I've had. I'm not usually the biggest fan and only really get fish and chips out of nostalgia because I don't live in the country at the moment. I get half way through and can't finish it because it's too greasy. But this wasn't greasy at all. The fish was very nice and didn't have skin, which is a bonus for me too.
