Delicarlo — Restaurant in England

Found this little gem today for the first time. Recently moved to Darwen so didn't even know this place was there. Authentic Italian delicatessen and cafe. I had the Italian all day breakfast this morning ...wow! I was so impressed that I ordered a take out chicken Caesar salad for my lunch and a lasagne for my tea. So today all I've eaten is deli Carlo!! The Caesar salad was delicious, but the lasagne was divine!!! Will certainly be back to sample more of their delicious food. A MUST...

I went here the other day to hopefully get some sort of salad box because I'm on a diet as of late. The girls behind the counter were very helpful and polite. I ended up with a tray that contained different leaves and olives plus two types of pesto, parmesan, sun dried tomatoes, a stuffed tomato with feta and a pickled artichoke. This all came with a choice of topping and I got pastrami for £6 in total. You also got the two small pieces of bread. It made for a change and i enjoyed it....

We visited today for lunch. It was authentic, the staff friendly and the food was fantastic. The homemade ministrone was divine. I also had a chocolate brownie which was petit but bursting with flavour. It gave me that chocolate hit I love! We will be back very soon. Thank you for bringing a fantastic...
