Visited again on 08/07/2024 and was again served by Jenny and Hilary who were both excellent. Strangely, another couple of food connoisseurs remembered our service dog Athena and made a real fuss which really made us very happy. Great food, great price and great service. Thanks. Jenny is an excellent host (all the staff are but we were served by Jenny). We take our service dog Athena in and the first thing after seating us is not what would you like but "Let me grab a bowl of water for Athena". The doggie menu is unique - never seen one before so Athena had rump steak and veg.

First time here Spring Tide lowestoft part of the Marsden group of restaurants. Nice layout and fairly spacious and works reasonably well without screens that you have for social distancing that some restaurants have in place these days. The food was OK. Nicely presented but with only half a small pot of coleslaw and a kids portion of fries. Obviously portion and control is being utilised to the full and I think it shows. The carvery is brought to you now and without the face to face they sure skimp on the meat. A sign of the Times I guess.

First time coming here since we moved to Lowestoft, and although it's a little pricey, the food and service were immaculate. I ordered the Beer Battered Fish and Chips, a pub classic, and it tasted fantastic. Not to mention, the portion sizes were very generous, too. We spent just over £50 for 2 starters and 2 mains and a couple of drinks each. It's definitely not the cheapest around, but the service and food more than make up for this. Overall, I'll definitely be back in the near future. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

Good service, nice place, but the servings are a farce. The dirty fries are about as big as a small McDonald's portion and skinnier as well. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw they were supposed to be £5.20. We did do the 5 for £21 but its a far far cry from the serving sizes you'd find at spoons. I understand not every establishment can meet their value but I was honestly gobsmacked when these tiny plates were brought out. Adjust your serving sizes. The refillable soft drinks were good value though, I must admit.

Great meal. With added bonus of a live band. 👍
