Took my nephew to Legoland recently, and we had a blast on Hydra's Challenge. It’s a water ride where you get to face off against a giant hydra, and trust me, it’s a lot of fun. He’s a big Lego fan, so he was totally hyped to jump in and battle this huge, multi-headed creature. The best part? It’s not just a ride—you actually get to shoot water at the hydra's heads, which makes it super interactive. The theme and design of the ride are really cool. Everything’s made of Legos, of course, and they’ve done an amazing job of creating a Lego world that feels both adventurous and magical. The hydra itself looks pretty intimidating (in a fun way), and the water effects really add to the thrill. The splash moments are great, especially when you’re close to the hydra's heads—they really soak you, which my nephew absolutely loved. It’s a great way to cool off on a warm day! The ride itself is smooth and doesn’t feel too intense, making it perfect for kids. I’ll admit, I enjoyed it too, even though I’m not a kid anymore. It’s one of those rides that’s just fun enough to make you feel like you’re part of an action-packed Lego adventure. Plus, getting wet is half the fun, and there’s something satisfying about splashing the hydra. That said, the ride isn’t super long. After battling the hydra for a few minutes, it ends pretty quickly, which left my nephew wanting more. The interactive aspect is fun at first, but it doesn't change much each time you go on it, so once you’ve figured out the best way to take down the hydra, it can feel a little repetitive. Still, it’s perfect for one or two rides, especially for younger kids. Also, like most popular rides at Legoland, the lines can get pretty long, especially on busy days, so if you’re planning to go, it’s worth getting there early or checking the wait times to avoid the long queues. Overall, Hydra's Challenge is a solid, fun water ride that brings the Lego world to life in a super cool way. If you’re with kids, especially a Lego-loving nephew, it’s a must-try! Just be ready to get wet and enjoy the adventure.

It has two but only one was opened. Legoland closed one of the ride and make the queue longer. It is not peak season and weekday only but still have to wait an hour. So poor of Legoland.

Looks like you'll get soaked, but actually most people come off dry. Good fun

I would love to give it 5* as it's a great little ride. Its quite fun for a few minutes, you sometimes get a little splash but not too wet. The thing that let's it down is it was another ride that is understaffed, the ride kept on having to stop for one of the staff members to go and organise the queue. It needed 1 person on each ride section and another doing the queue. Just wish legoland would adequately staff the rides rather than have people in quiet areas in costume...

Not a new ride, but has been recently rethemed to fit within the Mythica zone. Unique water ride where you control the speed of your boat by turning the wheel in front of you. Quite a force when switching to the outside and there's plenty of chances to get wet. An...
