Britannia Fish Bar — Local services in Erewash

I would say this is my regular chippy that I normally order from and have always loved the food and the quick service, but was unfortunately let down tonight. I ordered my normal order for delivery as to which no time was specified, for it to arrive 1 hour and 30mins later. Then realied part of my order was not in the bag and what had turned up I had to reheat. So rang up and was told that they would send the missing food over straight away. Another hour later and knowing the place is shut, I am still waiting for food i have paid for. I am 30 weeks pregnant, rather hungry, feeling...

Ordered from here a few times and now everytime the delivery takes longer and longer to arrive. This time we were given an ETA that passed. I called and spoke to a female who said it was on the way, a while later my husband called and spoke to the same person who said she was just finishing the order off and then said there was a (fictional) car accident and that was what was delaying it. Still no delivery i called again spoke to the guy in charge and i said to cancel the order he was very rude and verbally abusive to me, both very rude people. You'll never get your food on...

The food in itself was ok. However, customer service is appalling. It's funny because there is a certificate of competence on the wall, yet no staff were competent enough to listen to an order. When trying to order, the woman just cut us off and did something else, and then complained that we didn't say our order earlier?! The staff were arguing, screwing other orders up, and the wait time was insane. It's a shame good food is ruined by bad service. Will only order online next time to avoid...
