2 stars is based purely on the fact that the food is amazing! The management and business decisions however, are what contribute to a poor review and the possibility of us never returning. The opening hours are ridiculous. I don’t know whether it’s laziness or just poor management of resources but the place seems to be shut more than it’s open. If you do manage to get there before they close, you better make sure it’s not 30mins before their stated closing time or they will just turn you away, even on a weekend! They also do not allow dogs, even in the outside area which is a first for us. 3 out of 4 times we have tried to eat there we have had issues, there won’t be a 5th. Especially as you have a lovely cafe just across the road with very friendly staff, decent opening times and they even allow dogs inside! Perfect for a small town eatery. The only reason we kept trying to go back is the fact that the food really is amazing. If they dropped the pretentiousness that is so misplaced in where they are located, I think they may actually have a full venue. We have certainly been put off, the fact there’s barely anyone in there ever suggests others feel the same. A word of advice would be to change management decisions and policy to accommodate for people who would potentially be your regular...

Have been to 58 before. For breakfast but not for Sunday Lunch! Regret not taking any photos. We had 2 courses was too full to have dessert. 🍨 Wife had Soup for Starter(Tomoto- Which was homemade and came with bread and butter.I went for fiery Chicken in breadcrumbs which came with a chilli Sauce 🌶 😋. Mains- there was Chicken or Beef, Gammon Steak.We went for Roast Beef which was lovely. What was nice was it came with the stuff you used to get before Outlets started charging extras for everything!served with the Roast Beef was Red Cabbage, Brocoli in cheese, Roast Potatoes,Mash pots, a huge Yorkshire pudding and Roast Parsnips and Carrots. We had no room for Desserts but had a coffee and a tea. This was great VFM. I had a 660ml bottle of Kingfisher, J20 LATTE, TEA Aand 2 courses for £56 is great value. These guys work so hard and are always asking their customers questions inviting feedback. Would certainly recommend and will return for...

Regular customer to this place and usually the food is very good (when u actually get what u order).. 3 times now I've ordered and got the completely wrong thing..I ordered 2 large breakfasts with 3 of each..all I got was a load of bacon and scrambled eggs on both 🤦! I don't know how that's even possible and it was stone cold...so bcos we ordered through uber they say we have to ring them yet they made the bloody thing! 😤..30 quid isn't exactly cheap either so I expect at least my orders to be right..it isn't hard! They should at least take responsibility and stop putting it on uber! Unless this is resolved I'll be going copper cogs in future! Fuming.....seen as you've just replied saying that it was all to be gluten free..that is an absolute lie!!! I have the order right infront of me and will gladly show it you in the morning! ...
