Superb service from a really lovely chap on two occasions in a few days...very pleasant and polite. Coffee is gorgeous. Plenty of seating upstairs when it's busy downstairs so it's easy to have a quiet relaxing coffee break. Only two minor points really (I only say this in the hope it might help make a difference)...one being that the cake one day was quite dry, so wasn't really to standard...the other point being that the toilet is too small and quite basic (though I know the building design probably doesn't allow for anything to be done). Read moreThe issue we had was getting the door open while holding the wheelchair and pushing up hill to get into the coffee shop.. My mam commented this is a dog friendly place but it’s not disabled friendly as no body helped with the door getting in or out. The shop only had 2 people were working and were busy as tables had backed up cups and stuff so def could done with that extra pair hands to help. I got served by Jackie and James and they were so helpful with me figuring out what I wanted and the service was so friendly without feeling forced. The atmosphere is always really cosy and food/drink consistently great. Food and cakes are of a high quality too, in particular the pastries, soups...
