I'm shocked. This original pie shop is excellent but there's something not right about the pies that come in the plastic wrappers that are sold to local fish and chips shops around Cardiff.
Yesterday, in Caroline Street, I ate the most disgusting Clark's pies EVER. I had two because I complained about the first one as it was extremely dry with no gravy. The server showed me the wrapper to prove it was fresh but I wasn't convinced and asked him to change it. Thankfully, he did. However, the second one, which I watched him take out of the wrapper, was equally as bad.
I don't ever remember Clark's pies being dry. In fact, quite the opposite. Clark's pies were always full of proper mince and gravy. What the Hell...

While there isnāt lots of choice if youāre vegetarian here, there is a cheese and onion pasty and cheese and beans pasty. I guess thatās the feedback.
