Essex Grill N Pizza — Local services in Great Britain

Absolute joke. Ordered the food at 7pm it arrives at 9.30pm when I called at 8.45 I was told it was with the driver and would be 5 minutes. So that was already a lie and so much for fast food my nan could deliver it quicker and she’s cremated. Bearing in mind I also had a kids meal and kept him up far later than he should have been. The kids meal only came with like 5 chips, the half pounder meal they forgot the chips and drink, the doner kebab I ordered they ended up sending a mixed kebab, and the food was lukewarm. When I called to discuss my displeasure they said they would send out the correct items, which they did. And once again it was lukewarm, appetite was ruined and ended up going in the bin. I logged this with foodhub as I ordered through the app, they wanted me to contact them directly for the refund which I did, they then try to argue the case the food was cooked, well it was lukewarm and I’m a chef I don’t need to argue it and they are meant to take accountability instead of being argumentative with customers, also claiming I ate the food when I have pictures of it in the bin, and they are trying to say I’m attempting scamming them for the sake of £18, oh and threaten me on the phone with violence. So I’m getting trading standards involved....

We order 2 pizzas, one was perfect, the bbq pizza was a different story, all e of us took 1 bite and agreed something wasn't right. One of the meats, I presumed was beef tasted off. We left it and I called the shop. After 5 mins or so of explaining pizza wasn't dropped, I was put through to someone else, I explained the beef or some other meat was off, I was told there is nothing wrong with our meat, come and check for yourself, when I explained that there was a bad taste, I was told it was because I ordered a tomato base, which I normally do anyway. I said that wasn't the issue it was the meat, I was then told it does not contain beef, which clearly on the menu it does. He then asked what meat I expected on the pizza. Not only that it was undercooked. I reiterated again one of the meats tastes not right, and are they going to replace it. I was told if I don't like it don't order from there again. Which I certainly will not order ever again. Order...

Not a very good kebab shop. Food always cold and comes late and always end up with missing items. The price I pay I would expect to get good quality food instead it’s all cold. Most of the good reviews are from friends or family’s of people working there. I walked in there and I could hear an argument in the back of the shop and it doesn’t seem like a good environment. I’ve heard they don’t treat workers right paying them less and not letting workers know that they have been sacked instead they use lies saying they do not need them for the week. This shop needs to respect their workers and paying them right. If you do want a kebab go...
