I went there after about 18 years and wasn't disappointed. Happy to see lots of vegetarian options. I ordered chips, cheese, salad and chili sauce and it was HEAVEN! The size and price is amazing. The girls who work there are super friendly too. Thanks and will be visiting again soon! X

Edit :My husband came here and we ordered our usual and he asked if some of the chips from the large portion could be put aside for my son with no salt or vinegar. Surprisingly they said it wasn't possible and he had to buy a separate portion of chips for an extra £1.40! As a small family run business I think small allowances should be made in these circumstances....

This is the Best Fish and Chip shop in Leicester. I've tried many over the years however, here is where we keep coming back. They are 2023 winners and again in my opinion should take the 2024 🏆. I had guest from out of town and they fancied fish and chips so even though i live about 8miles away I still would come here. I bought 2 large fish and chips, 2 sausages, 3 large curry sauces. Everything was spot on not greasy. The curry sauce is also nice. The atmosphere in the shop is great, even the local Police were waiting in the queue. Staff are always helpful and friendly hence, there's always a queue outside the doors which says it all really....

The best fish and chips I've had in the UK for years. The fish is fresh, flaky and seasoned correctly. The batter is crispy and not excessive.The chips were done just right. Could not fault anything.

Have been dying to have a fish and chips since I arrived in UK, but normally it never fails to disappoint...so was putting it off.

This was a chance encounter, wife was buying something nearby, and I spotted this place.

Walked in, ordered and had a chat with the friendly owner. The food didn't take long, was well wrapped and was still hot when I reached home.
