I'll start of this review with the beginning of the process all the way to the end of the day of our activity. I booked a party experience for our daughter's 9th birthday, which for ninja warrior means between 12-14 People on the day. You have to pay up front for a minimum for 12 people and can add others later but depending on how late you will l they will not have a choice of food. For choices are- pizza or hotdog, with chips and either strawberry, vanilla or chocolate ice cream. You then get sent a template for party invitations and another for food choices which you have to complete and send back to ninja warrior. I have already fedback regarding the fact that the party invitations are not suitable and have received a response so hopefully this is being addressed for future party goers. In short it doesn't have the food choices, DOB option, nor the link for parents to complete the waiver on it, so you as the party organiser have to gain this info manually.
On to the day itself. Having an booking at ninja warrior entitles you to 2hrs free parking which for one of your guests is just about enough, but for the party organiser is not as you need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your booking starts. So be prepared to pay the extra for parking, which thankfully doesn't cost the earth. Oh and don't forget to enter your car registration onto the tablet when walking into the venue (I wasn't told this). Parents can stay and watch their kids, or leave and come back at the end; if they want to join in then you get a discounted price for them. There's also an area high up where you can look down and see the kids on the activities. With the kids party there is no need for trainers despite what the website mentions as they have to take them off to go onto the apparatuses, they are given appropriate socks instead. You are given full access to a party room for the full duration of the 1hr 45 minutes of the booking, that's 1hr playtime (there's a voice announcement when time is up) then 45 minutes to eat. So can leave all belongings in that area including the birthday cake if you have one. You also have a host, ours was Bella who worked tirelessly in providing unlimited drinks, setting up the party table for main meal, then the ice cream, then the cake for which she also kindly helped us out in cutting and providing plates, etc for the kids to eat with. She was amazing on the day. One piece of feedback for the management I would say is to invest in a trolley for the party hosts to use to bring it the food and do it in life trip rather than multiple trips. Bless her even using a tray (which were flimsy beyond belief, again another investment needed there), it was not enough to prevent multiple trips.
My son was a month too young to participate in the activities being 4 but there is an area as part of the photos I've uploaded which shows a slot machine area which they can pay on. For £2 per play it's a bit pricey, but if needs must say least they're is something. There's also an area for adults to purchase food and drink so if anyone else gets hungry there's that option. There's also an option to have a tab if you are having a big party and want to provide drinks for parents accompanying their children.
Overall it was a great day, the kids all loved the activities, the food, ice cream; and the cake we purchased from cake box beforehand. I would definitely...
Read moreAbsolutely ruined by new inflatable area as at 17/5/25, my son (7) and I are/were regular visitors to Ninja Warrior, no more...
Unfortunately between our visit on the 10th of May '25 and 17th of May '25 the assault course and middle section was replaced with a pretty much open plan area with some slides of varying heights, a 'lump' and a small course bit at the back.
The assault course that encircled the whole are no longer exists, the sections to jump over, gone. The areas to run through having to push obstacles out of the way, gone. The mounds to climb up and slide down along the way, gone. The obstacles hanging from the top to run through, gone. The multiple tubes to climb through, gone. When you was just at the end of the course to get the courage to jump into the airbag claim victory, gone. You could do all of this as a course round the outside or drop in and out of it along the way, this also created areas to hide in so hide and seek was another option of play, gone. With the whole open plan arena where are you going to hide?
Then in the central area there was a pyramid that kids could clamber to the top and be bounced off, gone. The giant bubble you could either bounce on like a trampoline or lay on and get flung around, gone. The three walls to run up of varying degrees that my son spent ages trying to concur the 'big one', gone. You would see kids hanging over the edge trying to help others up but alas no more. There's a kind of version of this now but no wider than one original one and not so much a run the wall as a jump grab and climb now. The pugil stick section (admittedly no actual pugil sticks) but you went up either side and tried to bounce, push generally get your opponent off, gone. The foam pit where kids used to do backflips, dives into or stand each side and throw the foam cubes at each other, gone. The run across the three large balls over the foam pit, mess it up and end up in the foam pit of doom scrabbling to get out or just stay there and throw the foam cubes and anyone else trying to get across, gone. The climbing wall to climb and traverse, gone.
What's left is just open an open plan giant inflatable bouncy castle for toddlers. Such a shame as this was the gap between all the clone inflatable parks for toddlers and actually doing Ninja Warrior for real. This is neither Ninja or warrior anymore and could just be named Inflate'o'bore or house of bounce.
My son on the way out asked the staff at the check-in desk if they could please put it back how it...
