KFC Chatham Dockside - Maritime Way — Restaurant in England

I was quite disappointed. Dockside is quite close to the upper middle class residential area and a frequently visited spot for most of Medway. Placing a KFC branch there was one of the most brilliant ideas anyone could have had.

However, for a business that has been opened in less than 6 months; it's DIRTY! I mean to be fair, any business that sells food should be spotless but this branch of KFC is just awful!

Firstly the button to allow people in wheelchairs/disabled access does not work, so you'd have to have someone to pull the doors for you.

Secondly, when we walked in, even though only 2 tables were occupied...we couldn't comfortably sit on any of the others as is was either littered or covered with remnants of food. Things were falling out of the bins. One Staff was clearing dirty trays with blue nylon gloves on and proceeded from doing that to packing clean food orders into bags for new customers without changing gloves.

The cutlery, condiments and straws are kept near the door and near the bin. Yay for easy access to the condiments but cutlery that's not individually wrapped...just yuck....beacuse now everyone is touching your utensils.

Do better before someone gets a serious case of food poisoning!

Also, the tables on the outside, almost all of them had bird...

Living on St Mary's Island I was excited to hear that KFC was opening at Dockside. This would mean I wouldn't have to travel miles to get a takeaway. How short lived the excitement was. This KFC is the worst I've ever experienced. The food is undercooked and stone cold and it only takes 2 minutes from the store to my home. They can't even get the order correct and I've had to return to get it right. The staff have no interest, just talk amongst themselves and have no customer interaction whatsoever. I ordered 2 fillet box meals and 2 large popcorn chicken meals to takeaway and I waited 25 minutes from ordering to getting my food and I was the only person in the place. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt as it hadn't long opened so went back for another try. There was no change, undercooked cold food and a long wait with totally unconcerned staff.. I can drive 5 miles each way to KFC at Horsted Retail Park and the food is still hot when I get home. I will never set foot in KFC Dockside again and would certainly not recommend it to anyone, not even my worst enemy. AVOID AT ALL COST...unless you want...

This place has to be the worst fast food establishment everrrrrrrr. McDonald’s Chatham has better customer service than this place. The staff are rude and when I asked for a slice of cheese in my burger they scoffed. When I got my burger it was cold and practically inedible (a major health hazard, I’m lucky I didn’t get food poisoning). All the tables were dirty and covered in either crumbs, sauce, or spilled drink. I don’t get how the place has a 5 star for being clean when they don’t know how to wipe down a table. The outside was littered with wrappers and chicken bones. At another time of ordering I ordered beans because I was feeling just beans. After getting home and looking at the packaging I saw that it has been made 4 hours ago. So they had it sitting in that heater for 4 hours. Over all the staff are terrible, rude and don’t know how to actually do their job and then they get asked to they have a mood. The food is a health hazard, and the place is a mess. The worst KFC I’ve ever seen. Please just avoid. Needs to be shut down...
