Absolutely superb service from R&R Projects Ltd. I initially contacted them in November 2021 in the midst of a minor crisis due to damage caused by Storm Arwen. The team attended very promptly, gained access to the roof, performed a full and through inspection and provided multiple photos and detailed estimates. The cost of the works meant that I needed to engage the individual property leaseholders as part of a lengthy and legally required consultation procedure ('Section 20'). R&R Projects kept in touch throughout that process, keeping us booked in for the works despite the fact that the consultation procedure meant that there was no guarantee that I would be able to award R&R Projects with the contract. R&R Projects provided assistance with the material required for my building insurance claim which all went through successfully as a result, as well as everything I needed to comply with Section 20. I had 101 questions and requirements for R&R Projects between November and March which they were quick to respond to via email, phone, and WhatsApp. They were always happy to help. R&R Projects were also kind enough to speak directly to the leaseholders at the site to ensure they were heard and that any of their requirements were met. They subsequently ended up doing some additional work instructed directly by one of the flat owners in the building. Shortly prior to the start of the job I received some additional recommendations from a chartered surveyor and R&R Projects were able to factor those tasks into the job with no problem. The works were substantial involving slate repairs, repointing and other masonry repairs, chimney repairs and improvements, gutter clearance, repairs, and enhancements, redecorating, re-silicone around windows among others, and were completed on-time within two weeks. The leaseholders had spent almost two years building up a reserve fund and the estimates provided used more than the entire fund. As a result scope and cost creep was something we all really wanted to avoid. Thankfully the costs never rose beyond the original estimates and the final bill was exactly as expected. R&R Projects Ltd might not be the cheapest contractor available but you absolutely get what you pay for. Not only have they done a fantastic job and provided a brilliant service, but I'm genuinely grateful to them for resolving maintenance issues affecting leaseholders and taking a weight off my shoulders from the very first phone call. Contacted R & R regarding numerous chimney & roof issues & spoke with Daniel who attended on the same day & carried out a drone survey which confirmed work I’d previously paid another roofing company to carry out either hadn’t been done or incorrectly repaired with the use of silicon. I received a quote which was very competitive & work commenced a couple of days later, this included removal & re-seating of all the ridge tiles, the chimney stack re-pointed, new lead flashing & re-crowned, numerous slates replaced, gutter & facia boards repaired & new lead flashing to a bay window roof. Jake & Caelan were friendly & polite & kept me informed throughout the few days they were on site. They left the site really tidy at the end of each day of work They worked hard in weather ranging from high temperatures of 30 degrees on a couple of days followed by torrential rain on the next. We’ve had some repairs done to an internal wall that was knocked down. Including the fitting of padstones, masonry work, steel work and making the wall more secure after a previous poor job done by another company.
