Adams Balti — Restaurant in England

Ordered a “Mega Box Meal”, cheese chilli bites and 2 popadoms and a mango chutney. It took around 55 mins to arrive which isn’t a great start, the food was basically cold on arrival apart from my drink which was ridiculously warm. To start it off the chips were soggy, slightly wet and not even seasoned. Same with the onion rings, the chicken was tasteless and the batter was hard and would often squeak when bit into. The burger consisted of warm lettuce drenched in mayonnaise and a poor attempt at a “chicken fillet”.Everything in the “Mega Box Deal” was poor deffo wouldn’t get again. Moving on to the chilli cheese bites, again, poor. I bit into one of the cheese bites to find absolutely 0 filling which was a lovely surprise to wait an hour for and spend nearly £25, the rest of the bites were pretty abysmal and the same story with little to no filling in the rest. Lastly the popadoms were okay, slightly moist, didn’t have much snap to them and the mango chutney was very vile. It was extremely sour, smelt like ammonia, and was basically water. Calling it a balti is a disgrace as it’s more of a rat-laden kebab shop.

Ordered 3 curries, mixed grills and onion bhaji’s with naan breads.

All 3 curries had raw chicken, worst part is it was chunks of chicken which would go on a pizza. I can only imagine what their pizzas end up like. The rogan Josh was made with green peppers and tomato slices that you’d find on a pizza.

The mixed grills had hamburger patty’s in and came with fried mushrooms which weren’t cooked in the middle.

The naan breads were covered in oil and must have been cooked on a flat top stove. Garlic naans had no garlic on just an out of date demented garlic mayo dip. The cheese naan had no cheese.

Overall the food was so covered in oil you’d imagine the place to be owned by an Arabian prince.

We ordered on just eat £80 worth. No free poppadoms and they rang asking for extra money for delivery which then the driver rang to say he couldn’t find us and we had to meet him. We have the only property on the post code!!

Ordered online and initially saw the menu was extensive... Very extensive. To the point its kind of off putting. Decided to get a selection of items burgers, pizza and curry with a couple of sides. Delivery was roughly 1 hour 15 mins. Mixed starter was not appetising in the slightest, I actually spat parts of mine out is tasted that bad. Chicken burger is like cardboard, no flavour and very thin. Wasn't eaten after a bite. Kebab burger needs redefining as a burger implies a meat patty but it was just kebab meat. I didn't mind it but the patty would have made it better. Curry was not what was expected. I have tried many curry places around the UK and I have never had this much ghee on the top.
