Sakib Spice — Local services in Great Britain

So I’ve ordered a takeout from Sakib Spice quite a few times, but the meal tonight has meant I’m not ever going to return there.

It was busy with people waiting, it seemed a bit chaotic with the staff and I thought to myself ‘this will be worth the wait’. Unfortunately I was wrong! After about a half hour wait for a simple dish, it was completely tasteless and not very warm!

When I have ordered before the meals seemed ok, so why was it completely tasteless this time (honestly the whole curry was bland). Did they forget some ingredients as they couldn’t quite deal with the busy atmosphere of customers coming in?

Another thing I’ve noticed which really puts me off - the driver guy there who also answers the phone will cough a lot and then help out with preparation of food, but his fingers/hands touch a few parts of the food which to be honest is gross. He’ll pick up a plastic container for the food to go in but grip inside the container with his FINGERS right in there. I mean come on.

So that’s pretty much ended my custom for Sakib Spice. I don’t want to pay £12 for a completely tasteless, bland and...

CIGARETTE BUTT FOUND IN FOOD & NO REFUND GIVEN. DO NOT EAT FROM HERE.

UTTERLY ABYSMAL.

Found a USED cigarette butt in a vegetable rogan josh. It tasted of smoke and was obviously from a cigarette.

They wanted the entire meal back to give us a refund. We only found the butt half way through the meal, so obviously couldn't give them the whole thing back - so they tried to bargain with us and said "We'll give you 50% of the money back for the remaining 50% of the food".

They then told us "they were losing money" and wouldn't therefore refund us. Absolutely furious as our meal (and evening) were ruined.

Utterly disgusting.

Simple the worst take away experience we have ever had.

A used cigarette end was found in our food. Horrendous on its own, but the follow up attitude of the establsihment was to call me a liar. After threatening to come to the shop, he quickly showed up at our house and continued to give a poor attitude.

After Googling the company and looking at reviews properly, its easy to notice that most are paid for and ficticious. Others I found after posting in local forums gave similar horror stories.

They have even been shut down and currently run with a 3 out of 5 for their hygiene rating. This place wont be open long. I have contacted the environmental health and the food standards...
