In process of refurbishment. Looking good. Food now available and reasonably priced. I eat here. Update:2024: I was hoping the food menu would be starting around lunchtime. Sadly, I've been in about lunchtime and told food isn't available 4 times. Shame, as I'd eat here regularly but now just don't even bother trying because I'm told chef isn't in. Wow what a transformation!! My original review was removed (likely they didn’t like to read the truth! But I’ll add it as a dated photo) but how you can change such a dump to a lovely local is amazing! Well done to the team behind it. Been in a few times and each time it’s been lovely. Opening night was great, each visit winch has been welcoming, knowledgable staff, friendly.. you have done this beautiful pub proud. Left after ten minutes and the landlady politely told me that 'my friend' - my father in fact was too drunk to be served even though he had barely started his first pint.
