Tartan Fish & Chips — Local services in Great Britain

If I could leave no stars i would.

So, ordered from this place many times, it was never very good but it was cheap as chips, exscuae the pun!

However. This one evening, i ordered theough just eat. Its only a two mintute walk. Im on elizabeth street and tartan chipps is just up the road but i was in pain so didnt feel like walking. Placed the order through just eat. They added 40 minutes onto the delivery time, which seemed a bit mad to me seen as it would take me 5 minutes to walk. Anyway, i had giests round so the time passed quickly. Then it was 30 minutes late on top the the extra 40 minutes, i kept calling and calling and they kepy saying it was on its way. It eventually arrived. They forgot the juice, forgot the cheese on the two cheesy chips (how stupid can you actually be..) everything was cold, they gave me a scotch pie instead of a steak pie, my smoked sausage supper was overcooked. We phoned them up to ask for a redelivery due to such poor quality. Then this is where it got reaply bad.

The qoman that answered was so unbelievably rude and started telling us we were lying and wrong and ahe cooked it heraelf then ten minutes later, started telling us she didnt cook it. Ahe proceeded with this arrogant attitude qhich i tthough was simply ridiculous because at the end of the day, i paid for it. All i wanted was what i asked for. They eventually redelivered it.

Will never, ever order from here again. Lost 4 different customwrs from that stunt.

Absolutely shocking god knows how this place is still open, tired it more than once thinking it was a one off bad experience, nope it’s there set standard which is pretty low, the classic over priced drinks of juice they buy from multi packs and over charge you, and to add insult it’s not even cold. The standard of food is cheap and nasty, lunch time and dinner they never have anything ready, this is not cause it’s busy, they told me three self they don’t put anything on unless it’s ordered ? So if your on lunch break from work, these guys don’t care, food was under cooked and unable to eat, I phoned to complain saying I can bring it back to show them, so they knew I be as telling truth, and thought they would want to sort it out to show they care, and I was told to F off, if you care about your health don’t eat undercooked food from here and go...

RANK* Place is disgusting !! Ordered 2 chicken nugget meals one with cheese on chips and first thing was that the cheese was solid and cold !! The chicken nuggets were cold and had a wet/rubber feeling to them also !! Oh and the main problem ... The curry and gravy "sauce" ,honestly there was big lumps of un-mixed curry sauce which looked like lumps of fat and was absolutely rank ! This gravy sauce was the exact same and don't forget was cold !! Can honestly say I'll not be back and after all that it cost me £17 for 2chicken nugget meals + cheese on one and 2 sauces !! £17!! Honestly RIP OFFF...
