Went here with the wife, first impressions.. a nice and cozy little restaurant, fairly busy on a Friday evening due to takeaways which meant service was a tad slow! Tea was lovely as was the fresh orange, the main event.. yeah we enjoyed the mixed grill, all meats were tasty as was the rice and salad! What i would say is that the food was worth the money but there needs to be more of it as the lamb pieces were a tad on the small side and it could do with the addition of lamb shawarma! i had to fill myself up with chips to feel like i had something substantial to eat and thats just a waste of tummy space imo lol! Would i go back, i would certinly go back and see what other food thay had on offer 👍👌😁

I was finally able to visit Beirut Star which has been on my list of Middle Eastern restaurants to try in Glasgow. As a Lebanese, I really highly recommend this place if you’re looking to have authentic Lebanese food. The service was great, typical Lebanese service, which offered “Batata Harra” (spicy potatoes) on the house. The fattoush was fresh and delicious, the falafel were crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside, just as it should be. The hummus shawarma, stuffed vine leaves and deep fried Kibbeh were really good as well. Overall, it was a great experience and I loved having delicious Lebanese food!!

This is the third time I have been here and it has never failed. Friendly and prompt service and authentic food with great taste! I ordered the Arayes for a starter, which I highly recommend and the Chicken Shawarma for my main course. The in-house made chilli sauce is brilliant so I suggest you ask for this, it goes great with everything. I had it several times in one sitting so maybe I think they need to increase the size of the serving dish for this 🤣 Thank you and keep the great work up!

Had a fantastic family meal here for the first time today, and we absolutely loved it. Grateful for the good service and hospitality, which was backed up by tremendous food. Hummus and fresh bread was just right to start, but the star was the Beirut Star mixed grill, which we shared between three of us. The chicken, lamb, kofte and Schwarma were all delicious and the fresh flatbread was a great accompaniment. An all round family favourite now.

Other independents take note: This is the level of quality expected from a traditional restaurant. Food and the speed is came out was immaculate 🤘🏽 Make sure you try the fatoush and baba ganoush starters. Mint mojito is super sour and refreshing too. Lamb shish was super tender unlike most Middle Eastern restaurants (Arabs don’t eat rare meat but that wasn’t the case here). Make sure to finish off with baklawa and traditional mint tea 🍃

Really cosy place to go for a dinner with family and friends. Nice classic middle eastern decor throughout the restaurant. The service was just perfect and really attentive staff. Everthing we had here were really tasty and very traditional Lebanese cuisine. Everything was cooked to perfection. If you go there than I highly recommend you try their Kibbeh B'laban.
