Expensive, cold and not worth the money

By far, the most expensive kids soft play in and around Glasgow, at £9.95 for each child (aged between 3-12 years old) since it was the easter break it was classed as Peak Time so had to pay almost double the normal Off Peak prices. I thought it was only the holiday companies who adopted this unfair and shady practice.

I don’t mind paying extra for a premium service or experience, but this is far from it. The big brick building is freezing inside and felt like the kids might need hats and scarves. The play equipment is looking old, tired and some bits have been fixed with brown packaging tape, so not sure what health and safety rules are being swerved here. There is no Wi-fi so if you are a parent hoping to get some work done while the kids are playing, you need to bring your own hotspot. Did I mention this is the most expensive soft play I can find in Glasgow?

Prices at the café are in line with the disappointment you will experience here and thankfully I didn’t try the hot food since most of the other food reviews here are not glowing. Got the kids a fruit shoot (cheap off brand version) which comes in at £1.20, but the kick in the nuts was paying £1 for a packet of chewits and I don’t mean a bag of chewits, it was the standard pack you can get anywhere.

Looking at the menu, they have burgers starting at £7.95 and if you are a vegetarian you get the pleasure of getting 5p back from £10 if you want a veggie burger. One of the few places that vegetables are more expensive than meat… Then again, a Hot Dog will set you back £8.95 which I doubt will have that much meat in it anyways. Finally, you can push the boat out and get a sharing platter for nearly £17!!! Did I mention this place has no heating or Wi-Fi?

Since it was the easter break we had been to a few different soft play venues over the past week and most were offering meal deals (entry plus a kids meal) for no more than £7.95.

Don’t waste your time and more importantly your money here, there are better value alternatives with friendlier staff and some even...

As we decided to take the kids today, heard about a softplay called WOnder World in Glasgow. Googled the address and it only took us to EastKilbride branch, i had doubts while driving as i heard its in glasgow!!! 2mns before arriving to Eastkilbride called a friend and she reassured it is in glasgow! Googled the place again but same results getting, checked the website nothing saying Glasgow! So had to ask a friend for a direction (after 1hour driving nowhere!) arrived finally to the place parked 10mns walk away as street was congested! Walked under the rain with two kids and my big bump to get there finally to be asked to leave as place is hired private for the day !!!! Explained to staff what a journey we have done for a Sunday! And this is very disappointing at least to mention it on their website! But they didnt seem to care or listen so we had to leave and go back home! Very disappointed with all the service starting by how unclear is the address which i also checked it now when you google the place and include glasgow u still get the EK address under glasgow! Wasted a day, disappointed my kids, came back home socking wet! Wouldbt go back of course and dont advise you to if you are looking for friendly place such as...

Had my daughters. 7th birthday here today 28.09.2023 after paying up to almost £300.00 for what I was disgusted with as being understaffed and a rushed birthday party I have ever experienced in my life and on top that was treated like with no respect when I nicely asked as our diet requirements was halal meat on our pizzas for the adults and kids at the party was given no other option apart from cheese and veg and they did have pepperoni which I thought the only fair option was to replace the pepperoni meat to chicken but the supervisor on that day was called Suzanne was no help and very blunt with her supervising skills and complete waste off time to speak to I don’t normally write reviews but on this occasion I had to and to top it all of 1 of the kids from party took an extra gift bag which left 1 Poor girl without a bag and the supervisor Suzanne made sure she was not giving a basic party bag which she charged my wife £12.95 for the basic party bag saying they need charge for the extra party bag which had a 20p sweet and 50p toy inside 3 of my friends who were enquiring to do their kids birthdays in next coming month were also disgusted in the behaviour of the supervisor and will never step foot in this...

I recently took my two children to Wonder World Soft Play for my son's friend's birthday. It was a last-minute decision, so we arrived just before 5 PM. Since online booking wasn’t available, I couldn’t secure a session in advance. Normally, a 2-hour session on a Saturday costs around £13, but we were shockingly charged £15 per child for only one hour of playtime. Even though there was still time left in the day, being charged that much for such a short period felt like a disgraceful rip-off. On top of that, the place wasn’t as clean as it should be. The Roller Disco next door offers much better value for money, even at this time of day, and it’s also a wee bit cleaner. I strongly advise others to reconsider visiting Wonder World Soft Play. I won’t be returning, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. Save your money and choose a place that actually offers value. Honestly WONDER WORLD SOFT PLAY...
