My husband and I have been members of Reset for four years, including online during the pandemic and in person once the studio opened. We have both become stronger and more flexible, but the biggest change has been in our mentality and approach to yoga and movement. We have both become stronger mentally, understanding when to push through and when to slow down. All of the teachers are so great at getting you to really listen and trust your own body, whilst guiding us all through our yoga practice.
The studio has become a second home for us and we have seen a real community form, creating an energy to practice in which just can’t be beaten at home or elsewhere. The teachers (and other students!) are all so nice and welcoming. There are a range of classes and truly something for everyone, from slower to more fiery.
I couldn’t recommend Reset enough. Its a gorgeous space with the most wonderful teachers, which you definitely have to experience...
Read moreInversion Workshop with Sav - I'm fairly new to yoga, and initially, I didn't think I needed a handstand/inversions workshop, assuming it would be more useful when I'm more advanced in my practice. However, Sav took us from simpler movements to more advanced ones. This approach allows you to assess where you're at and envision the next steps for your personal practice. I recommend having a notebook handy to jot down key points for your handstand practice. I appreciate that Sav explains both the spiritual and physiological benefits of the practice. This is important to me, given my very scientific mind, which sometimes struggles when explanations are solely based on the spiritual aspect. However, even when she delves into the spiritual side, it resonates with me. As she mentioned, handstands can help you discover who you are beyond your thoughts and beliefs—it's just you in that...
Read moreReset is a really unique space, it is unbelievably tranquil. The minute I walk into the studio, I feel at peace and I am able to leave whatever has been going on in my day/my life at the door. The high ceilings, big windows with the faint sound of the motorway traffic, wooden floors, incense and music all add to the beautiful atmosphere. I have done quite a number of classes with Jules, one of the yoga teachers. She is brilliant, has an incredibly calming energy, totally mellow voice and explains each step in a really easy-to-follow way. At the start of the class, she sometimes has a wee chat about certain things she’s been thinking about/a recent experience/the energy she is picking up from the people around her and I often find that what she says really resonates with me. Love love love Jules and Reset - really looking forward to...
