Walked Out Due to Unprofessional Staff & Owner

I never even got to try the food at Shawarma Grill because of a very unpleasant experience with the staff. I wanted to take a quick photo with my friend for a private social media post. There were no signs regarding photo restrictions. However, a staff member became incredibly aggressive, raised their voice, and demanded I delete the photos on my phone. They even reached for my phone, which made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe.

While restaurants may have policies, this behavior was completely unprofessional. It's concerning there were no signs displayed about photo restrictions, and the staff member's actions were unacceptable.

Not only that, but the owner's response to negative reviews online uses insults like 'mice.' This complete lack of professionalism is even more concerning.

This was never the case and they definitely lacked in customer service a little before I did not want to write a negative review of this place as I go often but was always a little apprehensive about the customer service which they have definitely fixed.

Tonight I hosted a dinner at this restaurant for a group of four families. As the host, I paid the full bill before leaving a bit earlier than the rest of the group, since each family (including myself) was traveling in separate vehicles.

To my shock and embarrassment, after I left, the restaurant staff stopped the remaining three families and falsely claimed the bill hadn’t been paid. Even worse, they charged my guests again — despite the fact that I had already settled the entire amount. Only after some time and confusion did the staff realize their mistake and issue a refund. But by then, the damage was done.

This was an incredibly embarrassing and frustrating experience for my guests and deeply disappointing for me as a host. Such poor communication, lack of professionalism, and failure in basic customer service are completely unacceptable. What should have been a nice evening turned into an awkward and stressful situation for everyone involved.
